I don't think this forum was worth the 3500 points I paid for it. This forum is like a quilting bee as opposed to the hard core # I wanted to see. As a matter of fact, if it's possible, I want my points back. Having points is better than having access to this forum.

Oh course it was worth it. Don't get me wrong, I like earning points and it's fun to save up, but they are in the end only numbers. There are a lot of pointless threads here, but also some gems. As most of you know, kukla made this great directory at www.abovetopsecret.com...

Some of those threads must be of some interest to you... and worth a whole lot more than 3500 points... which you will save up again anyway... eventually, if you stay active here at ATS.

I sure hope it gets better. I just paid the whole 3500 points. I missed the sale today.

The forum is not worth it however.

The points are free however culmative and they make the site "fun".

It gave me a reason to post my opinions rather than keeping them to myself. I am back to holding back though. I guess I need a new goal.

Oh yeah, I forgot about this forum. It doesn't seem to get much traffic anyway, though.

Yup, biggest waste of virtual points that I've ever experienced. Now, if only they would refund the money for the pointless email adress too....

Why are people complaining!

What are points?

You get them today and waste them tomorrow!

What can you do with points anyway?

I have everything I need and my points just add up and up.

I dont know where to waste them.

Out,
Russian

I'll confine my Laissez faire posting to the other section. I just hope no one regrets giving the points. I haven't looked around much but it was worth it just to see what's is happening. I may add some color with future points. If I post anything on way way too much secrets you will know I am extra serious. HEY

I thought the "expense" was very much worth it.

I enjoy browsing the RATS discussions at present, but rarely input anything, as I'm getting used to the style, format and Netiquette, as I feel I should. (And trying to support ATS SETI@home team - and throw in some "quality" comedy in the MSSS competition, as well!!) All these take up my time, you know!!

However, Williams story (of the cab driver) was *exceptionally* gripping and I'm watching the news witha renenewed interest on 2012 now - not paranoic - but simply looking at "business plans" that go beyond this date - and wonder....

*That* alone has got to be worth 3500 points surely...

Has the price been lowered recently? I might be wrong, but I thought I needed at least 10.000 points to enter this special supersecret forum a couple of months ago. 3.500 point sure seems like a real bargain to me. Personally I think new members should pass an IQ-test.

So is adding a background image for 2500, but 2500 every time you change it?

I'm purt near pointless over here! Am I stupid? I was half way betting all you have to do is delete your old file in uploads for the old background image, then upload your new one with the SAME FILE NAME?

Would that work or is that cheating? My problem is I like change. But can't possible post as much as the required points. I've spent 6,000 in the past week or so just on mini-profile changes.

So fess up, who here has "cheated"... or is that not even considered cheating. Or would it just not work.

Mod ruling please?

Hmmm, maybe I can post that much. 16,500 points in under two months is kind of obsessive compulsive isn't it. I forget I'm still a "newbie".
And already had 20 some avatars! :taking medication now:
