Thought this was very cool!

This still photo from a video taken on August 22 shows the first visual evidence of the fluorescent chain catshark. Scientists taking part in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Operation Deep Scope 2005 expedition found the three-foot-long (one-meter-long) animal on the sea floor of the Gulf of Mexico.

Source.

In the past month, they have found all kinds of unknown species in the Gulf.....Some of them very bizzare. Anyway, thought some of you might enjoy this.

Cool colours!!

It is typical for a sea-creature to glow when it lives in darker surroundings or deeper into the ocean. But I didn't know there where glowing sharks!!

I think we still have many sea-creatures to discover, we haven't seen all of them yet. I think we would be suprised if we knew how big the sea-animals could get when we go deeper into the ocean.
