National Security Action Memorandum no 271

JFK sighned this memorandum on november 12 1963 (10) days before his assasination.

This memorandum proposed that the americans and russians work together in space, including a joint moon mission.

When he sighned this document, did he also sighn his death warrant.

JFK was seen as going soft on the communists.

The industrial military machine had too much to lose if the cold war was to end.
