No polls in forums?

Why have the polls been removed? I would love to have a poll posted after a debate to get ATS general population reactions.

Since when has this change occured????? Why? why? why?

The XMB poll system has a serious flaw in high-traffic boards where more than one user voting at the same time can cause serious corruption of the results.

Presumably that is accompanied by a statement "temporarily disabled"?

The ATS policy of ethnic inclusiveness meant that we are unable to favor one ethnicity over another.

As we were unable to provide a button that stated "Serbs", "Croats" or "Barcalonians" the only solution was to remove any ethnic sounding buttons from the board.

Hence the demise of the Button.

Hmm.. well I guess I could start a thread afterwards, to poll opinons.

My problem is that there is no critique of the agruments and approaches used. (in polls, or even when people make comments) It's all "I agreed with so and so." or "Sally had a stronger argument" but no why. And you need through criticism to get better.

I think they are missing your "poll" joke, NC, hehe....
