hold my music for me

is there a place on the web that will hold my music for free so that i can put it on a web site for people to listen to, im not stealing cash from the artist because i am the artist so i think that it shouldent be a problem

all i really need is something like flickr for files not pictures

Hi Velvet, have you tried myspace? You can register a musician/band account for free - in fact it's all free, you can upload your tunes to your profile and specify whether you want them to be available for download & stream or just stream.
As well as this, there are plenty of people on there looking for new music to listen to. Take alook at my band's myspace in my sig to see what a typical profile is like.

i have infact thought about myspace, and because there is an over dose of myspace in my town i oppted out, it's kinda the "neat" thing to do here, and it's lame. though i do consider it more and more, i think that very soon i will have one
