What's the meaning

sorry for asking whats probably a dumb question, but i havent been around latelly, busy with packing to move to MI by the end of September.

Why are some members and moderators displaying a Blue "Fleur di Lis", on their avatars?
The "Fleur de Lis" is mainly connected to the French Heraldic History. The color blue in Heraldic means "Truth and Loyalty"... so I was wondering if that has something to do with the Moto "Deny Ignorance " ?

If it's not a tidal wave recognizing the devastation and victims of the Asian tsunami, or a black band mourning the disappearance of an ATS site mascot (!), then it's what you say, in recognition of the human impact of Hurricane Katrina in the south.
