I'm not permitted to view the thread, either, but no suprise there. If a supermod can't see it, why on earth would a regular member be able to?

Now to take many, many more personality tests!

I was a full blown INTP. I think I've moved more towards being an ENTP but am still slightly more introverted.

but what's more important, Frau Dr. made me stop viewing this thread in order to fold one of the kid's shirts using junglejake's "Fold shirts in 2 seconds!"

She can't figure it out, and keeps making me do it over and over.

THANKS A LOT, Junglejake!

She's and INFP, by the way . . . .

Wow! This test seems to be suprisingly accurate. My result was INTP, which almost described me perfectly. Now, to find some like minded peeps and start up my own "secret order of the INTP" fraternity

I'm in. No matter how many times or how many different variations of this test i try, I always come up INTP, and it describes me pretty good too.

With a name like the_individualist, I would have thought you'd be an ESFJ!

INTP
The Thinker

You are analytical and logical - and on a quest to learn everything you can.
Smart and complex, you always love a new intellectual challenge.
Your biggest pet peeve is people who slow you down with trivial chit chat.
A quiet maverick, you tend to ignore rules and authority whenever you feel like it.

You would make an excellent mathematician, programmer, or professor.

For the record.
The Guardian

You're a natural leader and quick, logical decision maker.
Goals are important in your life, and you take many steps to acheive them.
You enjoy interacting with others, mostly through work related activities.
Your high energy level means you are great at getting things done!

You would make a great teacher, judge, or police detective.

Hmm I not sure if I would be any good at the careers listed above.
On the other hand you cant say that until you have tried the carres in question.

I am an INTJ, seems to describe me quite accurately. My brother is an ENTJ, the same except extroverted.

INTP. The description on the test was spot-on... except for math. Math and I don't get along very well.

And my results were (I think) right on.

You Are An ENTJ
The Executive

You are a natural leader - with confidence and strength that inspires others.
Driven to succeed, you are always looking for ways to gain, power, knowledge, and expertise.

Sometimes you aren't the most considerate person, especially to those who are a bit slow.

You are not easily intimidated - and you have a commanding, awe-inspiring presence.

You would make a great CEO, entrepreneur, or consultant.

You Are An ISTJ
The Duty Fulfiller

You are responsible, reliable, and hardworking - you get the job done.
You prefer productive hobbies, like woodworking or knittings.
Quiet and serious, you are well prepared for whatever life hands you.
Conservative and down-to-earth, you hardly ever do anything crazy.

You would make a great business executive, accountant, or lawyer.

Ugh. Those are three of the last things I would want to be. I'm not really a knitting person :p and while I have enjoyed woodworking in the past, I really suck at it, and don't do it very much as a result. I think the rest of the ISTJ describes me, though.

You Are An ISTP
The Mechanic

You are calm and collected, even in the most difficult of situations.
A person of action and self-direction, you love being independent.
To outsiders yous eem impulsive, surprising, and unpredictable.
You are good at understanding how all things work, except for people.

You would make an excellent pilot, forensic pathologist, or athlete.

Well, that is only half right.
I don't think that the short test was very acurate, perhaps one day
I'll do the long more precise test.

I took that test years ago, I was an INTP.
Or a INFP?
Pretty sure it was INTP

Introverted

Perception/tive

Took a version of the Myers-Briggs recently an got labeled INTP (whereas I have scored diferently over the years). Seems to me that ATS would/should be almost INTP central really. A very good description of the INTP:

www.intpcentral.com...

Where else can you propound your crazy (but probably true...) theories without being thrown into the loony bin?

Interesting... Two and a half years seems to be able to change your personality. I just retook this test and was a little surprised to discover I'd become an INFJ (still hyper strong in the N category), and the description fits. Life does strange things, it seems...

INTP through and through.

I have found it hard to interact with others before I took the test and better understood my type of personality. I live primarily in my mind and cannot do mundane things as it drives me crazy.

This detachment can sometimes be so marked that he will readily see himself as a neutral observer having no personal association with that going on around him (unless forced to become directly involved through an attack on his principles).

This typically is me as I am a people watcher and I enjoy listening in on conversations. I will engage when my principles are attacked and will do so with precision as so the person knows the boundaries were overstepped.

This is his Mission; to be the provider of clarity, and is often suspicious that he is the only person capable of this task. Here, the INTP risks being seen as over-critical, aloof and arrogant.

This tends to get me in some trouble, especially when I was in the military

Finally as to not make an insanely long post

INTPs hate to think of themselves being in any way inadequate, at least in areas that are important to them. So, as soon as he puts himself behind some task, then he must achieve competency. But that is as far as it goes. Refined competency requires too much effort and has little attraction.

This is a downfall and a blessing all in one. I will learn something to competency but unless it is a major interest, that is all. If I am doing a task, it is hard for me to go to completion because I get to a point where I either see the task as complete (even though it is not) and move onto another or I will gain enough knowledge to where I know I would be able to operate in the real world and again, move on.

I got INTP also, though mine was called the architect.

It is an awesome test though and really does get to the heart of a person.

Good company though, Einstein, Jefferson and Darwin

The Necro-thread that just won't die... lol

Smart and complex, you always love a new intellectual challenge.
Your biggest pet peeve is people who slow you down with trivial chit chat.
A quiet maverick, you tend to ignore rules and authority whenever you feel like it.

In love, you are an easy person to fall for. But you're not an easy person to stay in love with.
Although you are quite flexible, you often come off as aloof or argumentative.

At work, you are both a logical and creative thinker. You are great at solving problems.
You would make an excellent mathematician, programmer, or professor.

How you see yourself: Creative, fair, and tough-minded

When other people don't get you, they see you as: arrogant, cold, and robotic

Pretty spot on really.
