This Topic was one year old recently... happy birthday, and to all a good fraud.

Bev Harris www.blackboxvoting.org... reported on another Forum that there has been a recent media lockdown (suggested 11/8/04). I hope that ATS is not subject to this at all and that freedom of speech and democratic rights are preserved. When you read further in the Topic you will see that there have been various blocks and attacks upon the group that has the biggest Freedom Of Information case in the history of the US in motion right now...

BBV: Help America Audit -- 5 Things You Can Do Immediately

Edited on Mon Nov-08-04 12:15 AM by BevHarris
I was tipped off by a person very high up in TV that the news has been locked down tight, and there will be no TV coverage of the real problems with voting on Nov. 2. Even the journalists are pretty horrified. My source said they've also been forbidden to talk about it even on their own time, and he was calling from somewhere else. He was trying to figure out how to get the real news out on vote fraud.

This is a person I've worked with off and on for nearly two years, and the voice was so somber it really bothered me.

At any rate -- and perhaps, especially important due to the tipoff above, there are things you can do to take back America.

====================

We have a different list for lawyers, computer people, statisticians. But if you are a regular person like most of us, and want to help, here's what to do.

Please distribute: If you have not done so already, sign up at Black Box Voting -- www.blackboxvoting.org... -- to audit the election and deal with vote fraud.

HELP AMERICA AUDIT: 5 Things You Can Do Right Now to Reclaim Democracy

Youre our greatest hope. If you choose to accept it, your job is to spread the word in order to build a fast-growing grass roots movement -- a voting integrity project so powerful that it cannot be mowed down.

1. BE THE MEDIA -- See below.

2. CRUNCH THE NUMBERS: Discrepancies please, and hurry. E-mail them to [email protected] . Pass the word. Need source documents, too. ASAP. Follow your nose, or join the Black Box Scavenger Hunt: Pick a county. Look at small counties, as we are seeing many discrepancies in those. Look in any state. Get the official number of registered voters, Dem and Republican. Get the number of votes cast on Nov. 2, Republican and Dem. Make a grid like this, filling in the right numbers:

# reg. voters % # votes cast %
Rep 100 33% 150 50%
Dem 200 67% 150 50%
Totl 300 100% 300 100%

We can find out a lot from this procedure, very hard data, that will make a real difference. As soon as you have finished a county, e-mail it to us. Do as many counties as you can.

3. HAVE A HOUSE PARTY: Show the film Votergate (the real one, which you can download for free at www.Votergate.tv .) Organize Be the media actions and set up investigative teams to help dig up information like you have in #2. Timeline is NOW, to get action before seating the electoral college.

4. HELP CONNECT THE WIRES: Hook Black Box Voting (.ORG) up with powerhitters you know, people who can make things happen.

5. DONATE to any of 3 organizations: Black Box Voting (.ORG), the consumer protection group for elections; or the new recount fund (information upcoming, contact DU's Hedda_Foil), or send contribution to Votergate.tv (The REAL Votergate film, by Russell Michaels, Robert Carrillo Cohen, and Simon Ardizzone. There is another by someone else, make sure you get the right one.) The real VOTERGATE is the most powerful investigative film on this topic, and consequently it has been attacked and blocked repeatedly. They deserve your support.

(BACK TO THE FUTURE>>>>)

This isn't the first voting machine thread in the past week, but the writer of the linked article has the most to say.

The story about corruption in the electronic voting machines broke in February. Later, the principal of the Diebold manufacturing coy came out in strong support of the Bush campaign.

Here's the other side of that coin:

www.hermes-press.com...

On August 26, 2003, voting industry insiders held a secret meeting to hire a public relations (propaganda) firm to sell electronic voting to a gullible American public, as reported by Bev Harris. The meeting, a private teleconference among voting industry insiders, was supposed to have been top secret, but David Allen, publisher of Black Box Voting, was able to obtain a transcript of the conspiratorial meeting.

During the top secret meeting, the voting machine corporate leaders discussed how they could get the defense industry leaders to assist in their campaign to promote computerized voting. These same defense industry moguls earlier assisted in pushing Bush's initiative, the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), which gave money to states to purchase computerized voting systems.

What we should be asking is why the defense industry is involved in the voting machine industry. The answer is clear: all these corporations are a part of the computerized voting scam.

"The vendors who have advertised the new voter registration system are: Northrop Grumman, SAIC, and Election.com which is owned by Accenture. The vendors for voting machines are: Northrop Grumman (through an alliance); Diebold (ties to Bush administration); Diversified Dynamics (a weapons manufacturer; its machines created by SAIC); General Dynamics (defense contractor); ES&S; Hart Intercivic (alliance with Accenture); Sequoia, and VoteHere which is seeking to provide a new 'vote verification' software which will go into every machine made by every vendor."

Many folk in the incumbent administration deserve to be incarcerated, and the apathetic who do nothing about them deserve worse. (Edit 10/9/04: I don't concur a year later that the apathetic deserve worse than the incumbent administration. If apathy is the natural state, so be it).

I've been hearing things about SAIC. In fact I just read a piece on them in Private eye. Let me see if i can find it..

I apologies if this is too off topic Masked, but a puzzle this size is going to have lots of pieces.

I just scanned this from Private Eye (avaliable from all good retailers
) hope that doesn't get me into trouble...

Hey, you followed the SAIC lead, doesn't look off topic to me.... just another rotten apple in the bunch by all appearances!

Mobile biological weapons labs AND voting machines. What a brilliant multitasking company, and now employing the source of suchj wonderful and credible intelligence!

What a bunch of complete arseholes...

It's the bit about Hatfill that interests me, I didn't know he was working for SAIC when he was questioned. We've heard plenty of stories the Government was responsible for the Anthrax scares (amongst other things...)

Perhaps we should be looking a little closer at SAIC.

Does any ATS member work for as a reporter or write for a magazien. If you do make articles about this topic or talk about it on the air. If someone works for cnn then try and set up a metting with people being suspected of rigging the votes. The public needs to hear about this.

This is scary. It appears that 24 states are already on this "band wagon", and the rest are being pressured and/or bribed with major funding. I don't know about you, but I think this is an excellent opportunity to steal an election. If any errors happen, no one will know. No one understands the top secret software, so no one knows whether it's a fixed election or not. No one understands the complex circuits or electron flow either. Are we to just take their word for it that these machines are on the up and up? I don't trust the politicians who are putting this into motion, much less the corporations that are selling the machines. Will your next vote even count?

Fox, and other interested folks

To track this story from its germination, here's a useful start - before you go all the way back to www.scoop.co.nz -

www.gulufuture.com...

When asked to comment on allegations by Bev Harris that the Diebold software may have been designed to facilitate fraud, Rubin described the claim as "ludicrous".

Rubin could dismiss the allegation of deliberately fraudulent design in Diebold software, because his team never examined the Diebold software in question.

Incredibly, this software keeps not one, but two Microsoft Access data tables of voting results. It's like a business keeping two sets of account books. The two tables are notionally identical copies of the votes collated from all polling stations.

The software uses the first table for on-demand reports which might uncover alteration of the data --such as spot checks of results from individual polling stations. The second of the two tables is the one used to determine the election result. But the second table can be hacked and altered to produce fake election totals without affecting spot check reports derived from the first table."

Not surprised. Wherever there is technology, there is trouble.

I agree - that's why the whole thing needs to be totally transparent to all voters, not clandestine.

These voting topics haven't YET got the full attention they deserve. Election rigging is the worst form of removal of your democratic rights.

It's going hand in hand with the removal of many other citizen rights that used to be taken for granted - right under your noses - while people are meant to be jumping around worried for their jobs and the next terrorist strikes.

I just posted elsewhere that perhaps people don't care about this because they are resigned to the "fact" that their vote doesn't count anyway. That is pathetic.

Here's an interesting piece on the long history of election rigging - bear in mind it's potentially far worse now given the current machinations and machinery!

Oh well, to continue with a MONOLOGUE until someone with a BRAIN and a sense of the IMPORTANCE OF DEMOCRATIC RIGHTS notices in retort....

I called home the other day when Mars came close by.

The Diebold machines get to call home BEFORE POLLS EVEN CLOSE, even though any counting before close of polls is illegal...

Vting machines CALLED HOME?? 5 hours before the polls closed in San Luis Obisbo County, Diebold voting machines called their home computer and started sending vote results back to Diebold. The data in the file matched the final vote results. The only problem is, at the time the Diebold machines sent the data, only 40% of the votes had actually occurred.

A report on Bev Harris's analysis here...

Not a peep of it in the news? Something this big?

I have noticed Bush himself has been apethetic and calm about all the problems he is faced with. Does this mean he is pretty sure of his win in 2004?

It was interesting during the blackout, little mention of that, as he continued on about his assured victory in 2004.

We alreayd know theres gonna be problems with the next election. What surprises me is that the democrats havent been screaming thier heads off about this..............why not? Surely they know........

We need to do something about this. I do not know what but something has to be done. Does any one have any suggestions on what we can do to put an end to this particular form of corruption?

You would need to find out who, in each State, is responsible for making the decisions on what vote registration technology is to be employed, and petition them loudly with as many objections as possible.

In those regions where it is not too late, that is.

The mainstream media have had awareness of this potential problem since at least this time last year, and covered nothing of it, only covered it up complicitly with all the BS Bush/PNAC world domination through the middle east plans.

HEY WAKE THE F*CK UP! What is happening everyday is disgusting.

If your on ATS, stop loving the gossip about the conspiracy and stop the conspiracy from growing! You like kids? You want one? You want your kid to grow up in chains? Hell No!

This is what to do. If you follow these steps you will have done good in your life. It requires $30 dollars, and 1000 fliers.**

1. Make a voting meetup area, where you live, at
electionreform.meetup.com... Make sure its a place where everyone can go to in public.

2. Print out 1000 fliers. In bold letters, make it say:

"
Concerned about Computer Voting Fraud?

go to: electionreform.meetup.com...

Each member that shows up will be paid one U.S. Dollar, for caring.

note: This flyer is currently protected by 1st Admendant
"

3. Now you gotta do some research. Figure out whose involved, who's getting paid and what alternatives there are.

Can you protest?
Can you write to your representative?
Can you hold a special interest meeting with them?
Can other people think of something?

Write up a simple 1 page report. Post it to ATS for some English critique. Print out some copies so you can hand them out to the people that show up.

4. Hold the meeting. Ask those people to print out the flier and put them up. Figure out what to do. When it's over say to each person, "Thank you for caring about your voting rights," and attempt to give them a dollar. 9 times out of 10 they'll refuse, out of embarrasement.

DO THIS please. If you're old, you can do this. If you're young, you can do this. If you're middle aged, you can do this.

** If you can afford it, do it like the black church did recently: Also put an ad in the paper that says something like: Care about voting rights? Concerned about computer voting fraud? Go to electionreform.meetup.com... Participants are compensated $1 for caring.

It made headlines on FOX news ... it might make it again.

Relatively speaking, what can be done right NOW about voting machines and this whole conspiracy, is more important than answers to who flew planes on 9/11 and whether invading Iraq was a good idea. Why? Because the current corruption can be STOPPED.

Look at ktpr's post immediately above.

Look at the concern being expressed (by too few people) about the eradication of basic freedoms under the Patriot Act.

The eradication of your democratic right to a clean and transparent election is what is at stake in this one.

"Voting machines" in an ATS search will reveal all our opinions on this. BoutTime was one who launched the original topic on the Diebold principal who is 200% behind Bush.

You owe it to yourself to read all those threads, and act.

Here's a possible solution:

The order of the politicians are cleared and are assigned at random after each machine vote.

I create interactive multimedia. If the application is awaiting a response from multiple input channels, the labels on the input key is irrelevant to the machine.

This works only if the program is set up with this kind of logic. The names cannot be entered into the program by the programmers. They can only be entered by the overseers at the voting site as a text file that the machine then reads. The names (actually, just labels from the machines' perspective) are then just randomly ordered and reset after each use.

Do they have an independent group of computer engineers and programmers quality checking the integrity of the application?

Satyr

People may KNOW, and feel powerless.

Tell 10 other people about it every day.

The strategy on the website ktpr put up is very reasonable, but more labor intensive than writing to your Congressman.

Imagine how the guy at the site that started hosting all this info in the US felt (most of the research and reporting was previously covered out of New Zealand) when he got such a low hit rate on this topic. He put it RIGHT AT THE TOP of his site for weeks on end, until the mainstream media finally picked it up (slowly at best!)
