Not bad, they have some fancy stuff, but it would still be no match for the US military.

Maybe it would be better to compare Irans military against Iraq's military.

Because if Irans military is not much better then Iraq's military was, then it would be logical to say that Iran would fall just as easily as Iraq did in a fight against the US.

Iraq has nothing for their army, for one reason after the war they needed cash badly and had barely no income and military equipment so they decided to invade kuwait but because of all the reasons i told you they were deafted easily because they couldnt attack bu tonly with their cheap Russian toys, todays war saddam didnt even fight back he just hided in a small hole and the most iraqis joined with the U.S forces, so you see how easy it was? now if you come and attack iran it be a whole different story.

there is chinese on that sniper picture because Iran makes their weapons with China and Russia, As far as english it is spoken in Iran and you be surprised how many people speak it and it is teached in schools.

How many CHieftens does Iran have? they are better than the T-72`s IMO , and could hurt the M1A2`s , especially if they have the CHARM gun on them.

Harlequin You do realize that most of them would get destroyed from the air before they can even engage any Abrams. Helicopters and Fighter jets would pick out their tanks one by one. If they survive the air assault they would have to face the Abrams battle tank outnumbered.

This is all hypothetical of course

Iran's military may be good, but what counts is tactics. And as we all know, that is the US's weak point and Irans strong one.

I think it is going to happen. I think personaly the US will win the same way they did in Iraq. The governemnt will be overthrown, but the people will carry on fighting. It is a hopeless situation, they don't seem to WANT to be liberated.

Most of Iran's people don't like their government, of course the same thing was true in Iraq. But its those few bad apples that ruin it for everyone, just like they are in Iraq.

I think the problem was they expected us to go in, kill Saddam, and leave them alone.

But then they would have installed some other Islamic nutter, most likley. The few who decided the take up arms would have oppressed everuyone else again. I just guess they seem to havea a different Idea of freedoms to us.
