I have looked high and low for something that can tell me where these coins came from, how old they are, and what the writting inscribed on them means. I first got these coins from an old guy in North Carolina who was at a coin show. He assumed they were american indian coins. But so far as I know american indians did not have coins and these seem a hell of a lot older then a hundred years or so. Anyways I took them to a coin shop here in my town and he wasnt sure other then the fact that they are ancient as in 500-1000 yr old range. So I turn to the ATS slueths in hopes you can help me out on this mystery. There are 3 pictures. Two of both sides of the coins and third of the coins on their side so you can see how thick they are and how they were milled.

I'm not able to see any of those pictures. If you could get the writing posted here, that would be a huge help.

And yes, they're unlikely to be Native American, Also milling the sides of coins was first known to have been practiced in the 1500's.

Try giving us a detailed description such as:

Metal:

Weight:

Composition:

Inscriptions:

Pictures:

That would help.

Those picrures were done weird.
I downloaded them offline and opened them in my photo editor and they showed up as several seperate images with varying shades instead of one whole image.

They opened ok in windows picture viewer so I took screenshots of them and uploaded the screenshots.

They look like the limited edition 1994 Inca series of double-dipped Oreos to me. Very scarce and yours are in great order.
