Chupacabra pics...real or fake ?

Most of us who have been here any length of time will want to know more about the pictures before making any decision.

At least tell us what you know. How about the who, what, and where behind them?

The first four are of a dead dog with mange. The last is a photoshop bycharlie white. www.snopes.com...

first small ones are real, some creature that a family shot under their house, and sent the corpse to a zoo or something so it could be identified, and it came out to be a deformed wild dog (I dont remember the exact details) but it didnt exactly fit to one species so they thought it is a "deformed" one. however there was a very similar creature just like it photographed somewhere else so it cant be just one deformed creature.

the last big picture is a photo illustration, a photoshop work, both these pictures showed up here before, but I dont know where.

It appears the recent hurrican has unearthed a US Chupacabra! It even has some Devil Horns!

Guess when you spend to much time out ther in a ranch, you shoot some poor dog and then call some second hand press in to say you shot the chupacabra. Oh and ranchtown police will be in there also, mixing up stuff. I read the story about those pics somewhere. I think it was shot at night and rotted in the sun for some time before they found it. It was a really poor story.

The second one has been here on ATS a few times. Its a work of art done by the artist already named above. But if it were a real thing, it would need much more food than just the liquids. Thats judging by the size of the head.


So yes the pictures are legit. But it isn't the chupacabra.

Charlie White is one of my favourite artists. He's very good at what he does.

I thought That the last one was real my self but its an artist...well do u have any links of his other art work.

some look real, most likely defored or mutated... something... but a few look like they been through photo shop.

A chupacabra is a mexican folk lore. It supposedly ate small goats, chickens, dogs, and other relativly small animals. There is still a bit more to it but thats about it.

So i guess all the pictures are fake.

That thing that charlie white made are like some sort of art thing about a guy and like, how he percieves himself or something? Like, all the women around him are beutiful, but he is freeky looking. I don't know. Art is pretty hard to understand, its something you can't put into words.

It's name is dave or bob or something like that.

Its a mange Hybrid Dog with a overbite. (Note: If you have ever seen a manged cayote. Then you have seen a animal like this. The overbite though is something unusual but not unheard of, in Dogs.)

Please note, When it was shot with a .22. It bled little. So perhaps a "blood abmorality" could be a part as well. Also the dog's skin dehydration is very evident.

As for the legends of the Chupacrabra. There is two theories. Alien Dog, or USA DNA Mutant.

(Side note: We all know the USA is the pandora's Box for the whole world.)

Seems more like he needs a shrink for depression.
