National Vulnerability Database (NVD) is a comprehensive cyber security vulnerability database that
integrates all publicly available U.S. Government vulnerability resources.
NVD was developed by researchers in NIST’s Computer Security Division and sponsored by the U.S Department of Homeland Security, the database (NVD)
will make it easier for system administrators to learn about vulnerabilities.
I am pretty happy about this, and it has email alerts, report a vulnerability, report an incident, RSS feeds, and Placing an NVD Search Engine on
Your Web Site.
Now if I could just figure out how to use their darn search functions....
