I don't think much of Terrorism Predictions. From what I've seen, the timing of Terrorist attacks is more random than intricate. It would make sense.......if they had any intelligence, they'd know that attacking randomly will be more effective than on obvious dates and anniversarys. The way I see it, no ones safe none of the time.

I have seen reports on planned hack attacks before the 9-11 date for this year. I personaly plan on pulling the computer jack out of the wall for internet access on the 5th of september until the 7th and then again on the 8th until 12th of september. Dealing though with the possible attack on a un building in new york I would say its possible but a nuclear strike at this point and or a nuclear incident cannot be ruled out. Not to mention there has been for sometime infomation floating around out there about attacks on bridges. My best guess is look for a attack on the sf gate bridge. It will more than likly have explosives placed on it before the plane crashes into it. that or the same situation dealing with the washington bridge. either way were going for a terror ride next month and I dont think its going to be anything small.

Hagmann Investigative Services is a genuine and reputable firm. But they have been wrong before, and they will be wrong again.

I like Skadi's take on "known terrorist websites" and agree with her.

If I was Douglas Hagmann I would probably stick to authoring books for budding teenage spies, and sending agents out to watch your unfaithful partners for $65 per hour.

Unusual things going on in the US every day - YES!

Ever since the day you never elected your incumbent 'president', the envelope of public gullibility has been stretched every day.

Anniversary attacks on US mainland soil - NO!

(But just my inductive reasoning... don't listen too hard... spend your bucks to get out of town!)

Please continue, all fear and paranoia are managable through terror alerts, of course, of course.

Oddly enough the terror alerts have not gone up in at least a month. I'm curious to see if we get hit, and the alert stays where it is. Elevated.

How many times does the conductor have to call " All Aboard! " before he actually takes off? How many times does the boy have to cry wolf before the wolf comes in? I think the last two years have been the build-up, I think we're getting really close to the payoff.

I find it all a little surreal these days in the States (I live in Canada, so I get blasted with US media day in and day out).

"We've elevated our national threat level to crimson, which is Heightened, based on non-specific info we have received about the possibility of a major terrorist attack. Make sure you are extra vigilant and on alert, but, uh, keep shopping."

It's becoming a culture of fear. At this point I'd have to say Al Qaeda is FAR ahead of the game, they don't even have to do ANYTHING and they have a fair amount of the population living in abject fear (thanks to your Stasi-esque Department of Homeland Security). Good work, Bushies.

Honestly, do people in Newton, Mississippi really need to be duct-taping their windows? If the government ACTUALLY told people what to expect from, say, a warhead filled with Sarin gas, they would be able to set peoples mind at ease a bit.

But that's the LAST thing they want to do, it appears. Keep the public scared and they might not pay attention to the Patriot Act and the erosion of their civil liberties.

Glad I'm in Canada. Legal pot, legal prostitution, and soon al-Jazeera too! Party on!

I agree that anticipation of a future attack is a no-brainer, its going to happen, when, were, how, hmmm, dont know. I mistrust anything that is published on an "Approved" site, However, I am not basing my conclusions soley on this site, but rather, on a collection of events and news blurbs that have been coming in. Granted, the attack does not have to happen on American soil, any American interest world wide would do. But like I said before, my Gut feeling is we are in for one hell of an action. what it is?, dont know, I still am of the opinion it is going to be a well coordinated attack in several location all at once hitting several areas at once.

As cooking host Mr. Lagasse would say about the war on terror.

" It's about to get kicked up a notch, baby! "

Do you think they would all happen in the USA.

I wonder what Whispers would say......

nyeff, I was just mentioning that to someone the other day.
After a year & a half of constant fluctuation in this Sesame Street rainbow-of-terror-meter, it inexplicably stalls out on level "Big Bird." If I recall correctly, we were bumped down from level "Ernie" back in April and haven't moved since.

I bet we all feel safe & complacent.

I always gotta get the "violent" rep.

Would it help if I changed my background color to reflect levels "Cookie Monster" or "Oscar"?

Seriously, though, outside of our little paranoid world, no one seems to give a # anymore. How well has the general public been groomed to trust that their gov't will stop another attack?
Regardless of the source (internal or external), no one cares anymore. And while the populace sits complacent, it's going to happen again and that's going to make the fear and panic that much worse when it does.
Patriot III, anyone?

I laughed this winter when I read stories of warehouses running out of duct tape. God, what a joke. Alot of good thats gonna do from a bio attack. Even a chem atack. Why bother? if something happens, it happens. Taping yourself in an airtight coffin will do nothing to help.

But, Banshee, youre right. The terror level has been elevated since, well, they started that system, and u can rest assure it aint goin anywhere. Ive seen it go to orange once, and red last sep 11. Funny thing is, as much as i am involved in keeping an eye out, Im more afraid of survivng a terror attack than dying in one. Thats my run to the hills comment. if I survive, that measn Ill be livin under marshal law, maybe the beginning of the NWO. Who knows? If there is a terror attack, id rather get wasted by it then end up under the bootheel of the new govornment. I fear another terror attack will set the public over the edge where they will willingly accept bondage, and surrender everything over to uncle sam and Co. That scares me more.

And still, I have no place to run...........

Skadi

Marshall law is what you get when the sheriff's out of town.

Martial law is what you're really worried about!

OK. If I may be bolder about it:

* I believe anniversary dates will have nothing to do with any planned large-scale terrorist attacks

* Seeing there is a government armed with the knowledge of what happened on 9/11 and the most sophisticated security and national defense system in the world, there should never again be a multi-faceted carnage-causing attack by a group of 20 suicidal terrorists on US soil

* For you to be wondering when the next one is going to happen is far too forgiving of your government.

You have been sold a pup, and for some reason even the most militant Bush-bashers amongst you think it is in some way still cute.

I also find it odd, that with the current amount of information, we haven't seen in increase in the threat status. Maybe they dont want to scare us,
, I dont know what the general feeling is at home, but here in Contenental Europe the people tend to blow this whole thing off, the Germans especially hold there arrogant heads high and belive all of this to be an American problem. I speak to Germans every day, they just dont get it, how quickly they forgot the Red Army Faction, the 72 Olympics, the La Belle disco these were leasons that should have showed them that no one is immune to terror.

A part of the definition of terror is unexpected attacks! Granted, terror is generally against targets of opportunity, however, if we are in fact dealing with a well organized world terror organisation, then there has to be communication between the different cells or groups. To me, coded messages on the Internet would be the fastest, okay, nowadays it would be somewhat easy for good computers coders to crack these messages. One of the stumbling blocks to this is you have to know what site to monitor, that is the catch. To me the more obvious the less likely. And, if the info I got about the viruses are correct, the sofistication level of encryption has jumped by leaps and bounds, I really am not convinced about "Terrorist Websites", I mean it would be akin to Charles Manson on line asking for a Flashmob for his next murder!!! My question through all of this is Who the hell is pulling the strings and why?

I hardly forgib=ve my gov, masked. I know who did 9/11. Im expecting them to strike again, as Bush's popularity drops. They will strike again. That I know. They will stir the waters to make it legit. Bombings here and there. Tp warm it up. Then they will hit the US. Bush....er, I mean, those crazy Arabs, have been planning this for quite some time. Its the only way to total MARTIAL (thank u for correction, its late
)law.

The govornment.......er, I mean, Al Qeada, will strike again, rest assured. They have already become addicted to the 9/11 drama and paranoia. Another serious attack, and the drones.....er I mean, my fellow Americans, will fall neatly in line.

Thats my nightmare. I am not looking for swarthy middle eastern men with funny looking suitcases to end my existance, Im looking for all American suit and ties to.

Then you are, indeed, even more forgiving of your government than those who believe in the middle eastern bogeymen!!!!!!!!!!

My house is not taped up, and I have no terrorism emergency kits stocked up.

I have not forgiven my govornment, just accepted the inevitability that they will strike again. The futility of self preservation, and the feeling of doom that sooner or later, National Guard will patrol every street corner like they did the airports after 9/11. Its pretty much unavoidable, save for a miracle of human goodness and someone blows the cover on everything.

Since, like Santa Claus, the easter bunny, and tooth fairy, human goodness is a fable, i shall not hold my breath.

But, I doubt it will be on 9/11. more than likely before the end of the year. They will spend 9/11 in false mourning and sympathy, to get emotionally touchy feely with the public.

It will hit later in the year I think. After the anjniversary fuzziness has worn off.

I can forgive my govornment for being predictable....its all they know.

I also agree that there isn't a whole lot one could do against a terror attack. The entire routine of taped up houses is a bit on the panic side. I was still in the military here in Germany when they tried to blow up the Frankfurt PX, there were no warnings no increased threat levels nothing!! I have the feeling that all of these rainbow colors to designate alert status are just driving the American people deeper into a bunker mentality, or worse yet, turning us into sheeple to be manipulated by whatever mood the homeland security is in. I feel like the dog in Pavlov's expierements, or the rat running for the cheese in the maze. If a terror attack happens, it will just happen! If the government agencies, that are suppose to be working for our security, are as good as They Themselves say they are then why do we need such an alert system. If the status goes to red are we all going to run in our basement and hide in the corner? I doubt it! One of the things that working for the Government does for you, if you are at least observant, it shows you how all the Government agencies are encapsulated in their own little world. I mean we use to get into it with the State Department when Embassies and the like needed renovatio or the like!! The tried to exclude the Army Corps of Engineers whose job it was to do those things. I am convinced that the stove pipe mentality has been preserved in the FBI, CIA and whatever other alphabet soup agency is out there, they just wont talk to each other, in light of that, well, just forget any type of security, these agencies are to busy empire building to be concerned with the security of us mere citizens!!
