Meat Eating Bee's????????

I was camping this last weekend in angles crest forrest. Durning dinner time there were many small bee's-looked like small yellow jackets- buzzing around. Ok, outdoors, this is not so uncommon. What got me was that they wanted our meat. They went for the steak, hambergers and bacon. One bee was so intent on a cooked piece of hamberger that he would not let go of it-so they both went into the trash.

Anyway-since when do bee's eat meat???????

The bees you are refering to are Wasps.....They do eat meat.

Yep, probably wasps...
BUT. a few little known facts:
there are actual MEAT EATING bees... but they are in south america (for now)
meat eating bees

also FYI*
regular Honey bees are actually almost extinct in nature... You will very rarely find one. The ones you see outside, are not the "honey" kind... and are inferior to the honey bee in every way (that matters to us)...
this has already affected many crops that rely on the honey bees for pollination...

the bumble bee is truly a freak of nature... it shouldn't be able to fly...
I think god fills them with helium... to give them a lift...

Practically got swarmed by them last week! (ok maybe there were 5 or six)

I've never heard or seen them before and they were going for the meat!!!
They weren't wasps, defo bees, and they were persistent little buggers.

That's nothing! Wait until a ladybug bites the you-know-what out of you!

OMG! I could not have been in more shock! Singing birds, cheerfully, gleefully, singing, and along lands a sweet ladybug. I look at her on my arm and suddenly I am thrust into an alternate reality as this thing takes a bite out of my arm!

I screamed! LOL Over a ladybug!

Too funny, it was later when I found out that the USDA brought in a new batch of Asian ladybird beetles and these somehow took over and they bite and they eat plants! Go Figure!
