love the background. it looks like the U.S. Navy just lost one of their carriers.

more detailed work on this ship.

lools like shark skin on this close up picture.

i have no idea why they made the small sub/destroyer? white and red of the left corner. at first i thought it was the Coast Guard. then i read the word Navy on it so it belongs to the Navy and that it looks like a cruiser or destroyer compare to the size of the U.S.S. Angelus. i have no idea why that color for it has no logic wen in need of stealth in the water where underwater vehicles are black or dark blue.

it looks like they made many changes to the ship. i see that they made it more detailed. as well as explaining some parts of the ship. pulse cannon on that white/red destroyer or cruiser. great graphics. good work. hope the guys continue on the work on more pics and story.

Thats pretty awesome. I can just imagine how hard it would be to even find a sub/carrier. Not to mention how easy it would be to stick a carrier wereever you wanted without the enemy noticing.

it looks very similar to the planes in the movie Stealth. but of course those were planes and this is a ship. I believe the Chinese or Japanese or maybe even the Russian had a sub which was able to caryy a scout plane. (my memory about it is very blurry sorry)

and this is only an imaginary illustration Im sure which is probably called "concept design" by its creator.

it is the USS angelous created for the sci-fi website www.deepangel.com

it is ment to be a supercavitating submarine aircraft carrier, that carries submersible high speed fighters.

Thats a really cool looking design, now see why cant the military ever make something cool looking like that.

Also, this may not be the best form for this, but I dont really have a suggestion of which one to put it in, so yeah.

First off, where did you find those pictures, I've looked all over the Deep Angel website and I can't find those pictures anywhere.

Secondly, these designs are made by two brothers living in Brisbane, Australia who are advocating the development of Supercavitation technology by informing the masses about it through popular culture, they are developing a computer game on this idea and are trying to get a screenplay they have written to be picked up by Hollywood. But their major goal is to actually have a part in the designing and construction of these ships and I commend the brothers on their efforts and I hope that Australia will end up leading the world in this field.

And thirdly, the red and white shot of the vessel in the fourth picture is the underside of the ship in the centre.

u have to have top secret clearance my frend to access such classified pictures. just kidding, its on the news and press category. they have it there.

thanks for telling me, they should have at least made the underside view the same size as the one on the right otherwise it makes me assume that its a cruiser or destroyer.

Remember, in World War II, the Japanese invented a sub/carrier. I think it was the I-400 class submarine. They were thel argest subs of WWII and in the world until nuclear submarines. They each could launch three aircraft I think. The French and a few other navies had some aircraft/carrier subs too, but they were only for launching really small planes and they weren't too successful.

The Japanese I-400s were originally supposed to surface off the Pacific coastline of the U.S. and fly inland and bomb designated targets. The planes were single-engined, but had a powerful engine. The U.S. was unaware of this during WWII and we probably would've been bombed, only when the U.S. was preparing to invade Okinawa, the Japanese ordered the subs come back to help fight. They were enroute.

They would essentially surface, launch their planes, then dive.

While this is a very intresting Hull design..doesnt a supercavitating shape require more of a rounded bow or nosecone to creat the bubble not a ponited one. Also not so many protruding surfaces to break the bubble.
The optimum shape for a submersible hull is round.

Thanks,
