Because, if you install it on your computer, its obviously sending spyware data back to them....

Not surprising.....

I tried uninstalling it off my other computer, the one I used to be hooked up to the net with, and it wont uninstall unless im hooked up to the net. Why the hell is that?

Probably so it can install another trojan before you get rid of it...

Well, Looks like Im gonna have to get it off my comp before Ihook it back up to the internet again.

I dunno how it even got on my comp, think it was when I downloaded from Kaaza.

Notice how Kaaza, unlike Napster, hasnt been targeted for termination by the file sharing fascists.....it still goes strong.

Im starting to think MSN slows down your puter as well. No suprise there seeing as its Micro$oft.

Did anyone notice the "This is not spyware " icon?

"WeatherBug does not monitor, collect data or 'spy' on its user base. Any software program that is implying or reporting that WeatherBug is 'spyware' is incorrect."

While I have my suspicions too, I would think that if DHS really wanted to plant some spyware, they would just piggyback an Office update.
