Sounds VERY odd to me. They forced the plane to land, but let the pilot get away and don't know where he is? WTF?!?! I smell something fishy.

not really sure what fishy about it. seems like it could be a genuine mistke. wasnt as if he tried to do anything and seemed to have complied with what he was told to do.

More news from the press that means nothing. There's a lot of that from CNN. i will say though there is a bit of useful news.. but not much.
