Which Video Games would make good movies?

Just like thetitle says, which game would you love to see go on the big screen?

I think that God of War would make an awesome movie!

Would all make amazing movies!!!! The Huge Fan Base alone would make millions! Just like the new Doom film coming out starring Dwayne Johnson.(The Rock)

The Half Life series!!!! People love those games and there are so many!!!!

Metroid (more along Fusion lines) might make a good movie. They would probably screw up Samus's suit, though.

Deus Ex and Fallout.

Deus Ex has all the cool conspiracy stuff, like illuminati and majestic12, not to mention violence galore, and Fallout is a post-apocalyptic world that is uber cool, too.

Half-life 1 and 2 would make great films and I think the rights have been bought.
But to be honest games to movie conversions always suck.Street fighter, mortal combat and Resident Evil need I say more?(Oh yeh Tomb Raider )

I would have said Doom were it not already a movie soon to be released.

Other good choices I think would include:

1) Project Zero (Known overseas as Fatal Frame) would make a great Ring/Grudge/Dark Water-esque horror movie, as would the Silent Hill series.
2) The Halo games would make movies of such awesomeness that awesomeness would become an accepted word used by all.

I'm going old school here, how 'bout Stargate? Well wouldn't you know it, it was a movie!!!!!! I ruled at that game. Could score over a million with my eyes closed.

Splinter Cell is being made into a movie, which rocks.

But I say Starcraft. That is probably the best sci-fi game ever made. And just think, it would be like a cross between Starship Troopers and Alien, two of the best sci-fi movies ever made. And I figure, do it styled like that, no 3-D CGI stuff, make it real actors. Kerrigan would be pretty hot on screen (pre-zergified).

Geist is another one that needs a movie. That game has some incredibly awesome scenes in which you're scaring the person. Not to mention it's got a great storyline. It would be a perfect horror like thriller movie if done just right. Geist has the potential to make an insanely creepy movie.
