Terror summit plan

PRIME Minister John Howard is open to a plan by state and territory leaders for a national summit to examine whether Australia is able to cope with a terrorist attack.

Some states are supportive of a British proposal that could see police hold terror suspects without charge for up to three months.

Would this stop any attacks ...i dont think so

well, it's now 2006 and the new terror laws have been put in place
