LONDON, England (CNN) -- A man has been arrested in connection with Thursday's attempted bomb attacks on London's transport system, police say.
Scotland Yard said Friday's arrest took place at an address in Stockwell, south London, as "part of the investigation into the incidents of July
21."
Police would not comment on whether the man was one of four shown in CCTV pictures of suspects released Friday.
The photos were released as part of a police appeal for information about the bomb suspects.

In Birmingham, police arrested a man at rail station and seized at least two suitcases under Britain's anti-terrorism laws. The Snow Hill rail
station in Birmingham, 110 miles northwest of London, was evacuated and cordoned off, police spokesman Will Harpur. It was unclear whether the arrest
was connected to Thursday's attacks.

This is good news and I wonder if perhaps the photos released a few hours ago are the reason for this fast arrest? Two arrests in two hours time is
pretty fast work. Great work on the part of the British Police.
Reports coming out of Birmingham state that police are using remote bombing devices at the scene.
Will post ITV link as soon as their online page is updated
