so many to choose from, which should i pick? i think i'm going to go with star wars: jedi academy on the PC. it's got a great storyline and you pick how you want to look with many different coloured lightsabre choices. the action isn't terrific but i'm mainly into storylines.

My favorite is Zelda: Majora's Mask. Everything was pure innovation. The moon falling in 3 days added a lot of challenge, and there were loads of complex side quests. For example, several side quests are connected, so if you do one you won't be able to do all the others. Getting all the masks was really hard, though, but when you did you got to be Fierce Deity, which was awesome, especially when you do the glitch to get him out of boss battles. Masks also let you transform into a Deku, Goron, or Zora, each having its own special powers. It also had very nice atmosphere, the graphics being crisp and clear. Music might have been its weak point, since it had to use MIDIs, but the tunes were still catchy nonetheless.

The only bad things about it are that it requires the Expansion Pack and that there was some slowdown, especially when you do a roll in the snow; the N64 just couldn't handle the effects. But I had a blast playing it!

Tough question. I don't think I have a definate favorite; but I have a few favorites. So I'll list 'em

The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time - Loved every minute of this game

Super Mario 64 - Hands down the best 3D platformer ever. It set the bar, and so far nothing has come close to touching it gameplay wise.

Mario Kart 64 - My favorite racing game of all time. I never get tired of it. I was hoping Mario Kart: Double Dash would have been as fun, but it's just lacking something..

World of WarCraft - As far as MMOG's go, this is my favorite. And I've played alot. The game just has something the others lack, sure it has a few problems, but so do all the rest of them. I think it's that Blizzard tried to make as little of this game as possible tedius, which helps alot; compared to some campfest games like EQ.

Soul Calibur II (GC edition) - My favorite "true" fighting game. I just loves it
Lots of fun to play

Super Smash Brothers Melee - A great party game, and lots of fun single player. Anyone can pick-up and play, no memorizing of moves or anything to give you the edge.

Time Splitters Future Perfect - It's by far my favorite console FPS. The story line is pretty good. The levels are wildly different so it doesn't get boring. Multiplayer is really fun. The map maker is insane in how fantastic it is.

and finally..

Baldur's Gate II - The best RPG I've ever played. It's just great, you should all try it out. Real cheap these days too.

Super Smash Bros. Melee- Best fighter game ever. Also, best multiplayer game ever.

Soul Caliber II- Third best fighter game ever (First Smash Bros in #2). Awesome fighting, but the multiplayer lacked the fun of Smash Bros. Still good stuff though.

Timesplitters 2- One of my favorite shooters ever. Also has the best FPS multiplayer ever. IMO it has the second best multiplayer of all time. This game also has a great multiplayer. That and this game is full of laughs, especially with friends. And like a good few games on this list, it's one of the few sequels to beat the predecesor.

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory- Best stealth action game ever. Also has one of the best single player modes. Co-op is full of fun too.

Spider-Man 2- This I think is the best comic/movie made into a game ever. It also gets props for pulling off a good free roam mode, which few games do right. One of the few sequels better than the original.

Unreal Tournament 2004- One of the best FPS's, has a great multiplayer too. It's absolutely frantic and fun at the same time. In it's genre it's probably second only to Timesplitters 2.

The Sims 2- This one is huge on originality. This is one of the few sequels that has as much originality as it's predecesor. And it's another one of the few sequels better than the original.

Starfox 64- This game was just fun. I can't explain why talking animals in space ships is so much fun, but it is. It was full of action, and had an entertaining multiplayer. But it was just one of those games thats pure fun. This is a true classic in a world that doesn't have too many.

Simcity 4- Like the Sims 2, it has a ton of originality and content. Like the Sims 2, this is one that you can play forever and never see it all. It's also a good improvement on it's predecesors which were classics in their own right.

Animal Crossing- I know, I'm getting a lot of raised eyebrows on this one. But it's such an inovative game. It may seem similar to the Sims, but it differs so much, and adds so much that it's not really comperable. I think that Animal Crossing is one of the most innovative games of it's day.

Starcraft- I don't think I need to say much else. It is the best RTS ever made. It's got everything an RTS needs, that and it set the bar for all RTS's. That and it had awesome style and probably the best storyline I've ever seen. Too be honest, despite being all the way from 1998, it's capable of enveloping me into it as much as Halo, or even the whole Star Wars series. This one has a special place in my heart.

And finally Command and Conquer: Generals- This one gets special mention for letting me conduct NAPALM strikes on terrorists as the Chinese. That and letting me feel like a James Bond villian with the US's particle cannon.
