The True Power Of Presidency -must read-

How much power can a president REALLY sit on? Sure, checks, balances are in order to make sure power is distributed among the minds of all our great men and women whom run this nation (into the ground [or at least into the WTCs]) But lets take a look into what a president can REALLY do in their time of inogeration...

1: President is elected for going on the campaign trail and busting ass ripping on his counter-electee (whom no one left or right wants in office in the first place) and by making strong promises (that don't really have to be fufilled. [comes into play later])

2: President can start to create new bills which may or may not be passed, but can both be disguised as a bill of public interest, but also will help him achieve the next step of his rise.

3: After making it this far and years of planning and practice, President can get supported and hidden organizations to commit MASSIVE treason which also cause panic and fear into his nations public.

4: With a weakened yet revenge driven spirit, the fear spread across his nation can be exploited to pass even more bills which will subject his people to removed rights and even propogate war. The promises of his campaign can now be dissovled for "THERE IS A NEW GREAT THREAT TO THE AMERICAN WAY!"

5: Still his nation can not come to terms of what REALLY happened, but still get force fed BS through the media masterminds. President reads a few words wrong and speaks in a southern accent and gets everyone to believe he is a dumbass whom could never concieve something so horrible (how could he, he is too stupid).

6: With complete acceptance of the (false) truth the machines rap out at almost a Ghz. entering the unconcious bleeding nation; President can continue battling for resources, power, and most importantly create NEW LAWS AND POLICIES WHICH CHANGE OUR SYSTEMS.

7: Again Senate and House are on the Pres. back. The terrorists NEED TO BE BROUGHT TO JUSTICE. A foreign nation with blame pushed on it crumbles and Pres. can spread is democratic powers over their state.

8: Slowly his term wears thin and a new trail with LOUD RED WHITE AND BLUE COLORS for campaign comes again, all the while slowly passing a "Patriot" act which continues to shift and corrupt our great way. At the same time he can say, look over in Iran TERRORISTS! And war is proposed their.

9: This time, he has all states on his side for both him and his counter-elect are on the same side (cousins to be exact). Yet again the BS builds as voting stops working with the corruption within election rises and the man is once again "selected" to lead our nation for four more years.

10: The real fun begins, a nation still clueless and innocent is whiped with more and more media control and more and more judicial and legislative twisting. More reform, but eventually he hits a rut.

11: The official terror stuff hits home and people get pissed. "Why dont we see this on CNN?" People ask. "Why isn't the fact that over 50 people die each day in the middle east everyday for the last 2 or more years on the front page?" So the stories are hidden by sensationalized and biased stories like 'The runaway bride' (coming to a theatre near you) 'Micheal Jackson Trial' (Guilty man spends get out of jail free card) 'The Pope' (God rest his soul) 'The Nazi Pope' (God forgive his soul) and much much more!!!

12: Eventually he can set up personal satillites in nearly ALL of the offical branches of The American System and take control not as one man, but as one man leading many men, and women. He even can decide whom will run our main judicial power for the next generation. (Robert Smith [sounds like the fake name I used when I got caught drunk and underaged..])

13: Coming soon, setting up his power satillites in the U.N. all the while giving the U.N. more and more power over all other culture, religion or government system.

See one president can alter EVERYTHING in his terms. It is not that hard and is happening RIGHT NOW. With enough power one president can change the limit of how many terms he serves and could eventually turn himself into president for life, no matter how many checks and balances are said to be fufilled. Just though you would want to know...

Ever since the inventions of radio and television, those in power (or those who wanted it) soon realized their capabilities and quickly embraced them. I do believe there is some truth in what you said: the "American Way" has gone all the way from libertarianism to a practically socialist suburban living.

forgive me if i'm wrong, but this president has been one of the most hostile to the UN in history. how is he giving it more power?

well, aside from the fact this conspiracy theory doesnt add up, theres not a shred of real tangible proof. If there was some minute evidence i think youd find more people might care, but so far this are just the rantings of people who are 1. very upset at the results of nov. 2 2. They are just as they sound, madmen. For the last few months all i have been hearing is bush is conspiring on epic proportions to twist the government into his puppet or whatever. NEWS FLASH: Bush isnt that damn bright people, i mean lets face it the guy should be legally retarded. The only good thing about him is he is a gun toting redneck which was the mood the US was in both times the guy was elected. The thing that doomed the Democratic candidate was people being repulsed and sickened by the likes of michael moore, hey we told you guys to leave that fool in the cold. well that caused kerry to be crushed. you will see the same disintegration of the Ultra-liberal british media as time and time again they are being showd that they are foolish.

Well now see, people go on thinking i'm going out STATING this for fact. What I am merely raising is a RETORICAL question, this could happen. It has happened before in history. Adolph Hitler used the tactic of burning down his own Reichstag building to enter war. What if there was an agenda, what if the Bush Administration has thought this through more than we thought...now the FACT that 9/11 was insided has tangible and undeniable evidence. Much I will not list, I hold it to be self-evident coinciding with the personal investigations and those of MULTIPLE brave people. I suggest you all look into it for more than 3 seconds, and don't research with biasm, it won't help results...

What I am saying is; when our forefathers created our democrasy, they had one thing in mind..Liberty. Liberty of ALL people. Yes, we grew and liberties extended to African Americans, Women, Immigrants, etc. People grew in the last two-hundred years. However this century has me worried. The flawless system of the American way has been bought out. Corperations run our government. Our empire has become the very thing our forefathers chose to become independant from. Please people, I do want this nation to stay the same as it ever was, but I feel we are changing in an unnecesary way, I do not like what we are maturing into...

The ultimate question historically is the "flight forward," if you will the historical inquiry upon results. When you consider power it may be useful to consider some academic positions within notions of functionalism. If the overall effect of political power becomes to weaken useful authority, then one has failed in gaining more power. In my thoughts the Presidency is a leadership in power where pressing too hard can yield a backlash, whether it is a matter within secretive minds of men due to censorship or if it is more open in matters of free speaking, the net effect is to diminish otherwise properly applied powers. In economics time is money, in the Presidency the exercise of effective power sometimes establishes itself early in a Presidential transition.

In any event, effective power is what we can view. If you have to have SWAT teams to think of yourself as "powerful," you are in fact very weak since there is no internalized vision of the public of you actualizing your power. Real political power is lasting eloquence, it is the exercise of helpful reminders of things we already know as truths. There is no "bodyguard of lies," if everything is a lie, since there is no truth for comparison, and not even a half truth to calculate.

When you think of power, maybe you think of things that are of immense power such as the Gettysburg Address. Power is in the mind, but when it becomes mindless brutality or simply mindless, it is worse than forgetable weakness. Actual power is really what becomes memorable from eloquence, it has nothing to do with events alone other than producing a captivating vision out within thoughtful approaches to those events. Power is definitely a human quality, a leadership quality, a way of casting special moments into new ones.

Maybe the real power is to tame government, neither allowing it to become a dangerous servant nor a fearful master. Power as regards the Presidency is when people really are better off today than four years ago.
