Secret Flying Disks- A history of these Exotic Aircraft!

The topic of disk shaped aircraft, so-called "Flying Saucers" has come up here many times before. I just found a website that has information on the development of Flying Disk by America, Russia, The UK, and several others. The site also raises the possibility that these strange projects may be used for psychological warfare, because of the fear many people have of the unknown. The site touches on the history of several Real Aircraft that have/had a disk shape. Included on this short list are: the Navy V-137/XF-5U1 Flying Flapjack, a secret USAF concept known only as Weapon System 606A, the Avrocar, and Project Silver Bug.

The site also mentions that the CIA was involved in some of the moders flying disk related sighting. They even explored the psychological effects of UFO siting to detemine if disk-shaped aircraft could be used to psycologically terrorize enemies in time of war.

There is also a refrence to the idea that the Russian may have obtained some of the flying disk technology that the Germans developed and tested in World War 2, through their own version of the USA's Operation Paper Clip, which was the capture of German Scientist at the end of WW2. The site deal with many of the question of when and how these design were developed.
