After all remember that China in the 20-40's was mostly a collection of warlod factions when the Mancho dynasty ended, and also please be sure to remember that if Taiwan was not a strategic Island we would still want it because it is a part of China.

So what you are saying is that any place with Han Chinese is part of China? Balderdash! You would have to include Canada and the United States as part of the new chinese empire because of all the chinese that have run, not walked to the west to experience something china has never and most likely never will have... freedom.

I guess the names TIBET and VIET NAM don't mean a thing to you do they?

They don't care the lives of ordinary chinese people, but certainly they will care about their money, don't they

Absolutely correct! In fact many chinese communistas send their children (at party expense) to schools in the USA such as UCLA, USC, CAL Berkely, Stanford, Yale, Harvard, Ohio State and many others. They talk one talk and then walk another walk knowing that the CCP will colloapse as soon as Zhu's generation is finally dead and buried.

Chinese forget one big thing when it comes to nuclear war, the USA developed a weapon called the Neutron Bomb, quite effective at killing yet preserving land and structures. Neutrinos fly through dirt, go hide in your massive underground "shelters" (tombs).

I think China has had neutron bombs for quite some time. This article is from 5 years ago.

China exploded its first neutron bomb 11 years ago, something widely known in the international community. However, in keeping with the secretive nature of China's military establishment, apparently no public announcements were made by officials or the state-run media.

www.cnn.com

I believe the US government accused them of stealing the technology from them.

Wouldn't be surprised that they stole it from the USA, they steal pretty mush everything but the political system.

stop your run against me Amuk. I have seen plenty of other one liners that you ignore.

Land bordering China with a high percentage of Chinese is easily considered part of China, places in Canada, US, etc aren't considered part of China becuase those Chinese left of their own accord to live in another nation, though in old Imperial times China considered all other people's to be Vassel states. So maybe they are a part of China.

Vietnam and North Korea were not invasions, infact in Vietnam no Chinese troops have ever invaded Vietnam excpet in that one border skirmish to teach them a lesson, though I can't recal what it was about though.

As for Chinese goinh to Yale, Harvard etc I have a Canadian correspondent who've met one or two of these and there's nothing of the sort, they don't talk about the in your opinion the "inevitable fall of the CCP"

USN Pacific fleets nuclear arsenal > all of Chinas.

Thats why China is bluffing. They will all die if they go nuclear. The US would survive.

Of course, the more important reason it will not happen is that China needs the US to sell goods to. Without us, their economy would collapse.

hmmm quite frankly no.

Even if America decided right now to stop buying Chinese goods and slapped a tarrith etc China still has markets everywhere else, and even then it wouldn't cripple China's economy, might cripple the PLA to fight a war beyond our borders but the economy will go on, just not as wealthy as before and the people will have to endure hardships, nothing to worry about we are used to it through a couple of centuries of opression by Imperialist powers.

Even if America's nuclear arsenal was enough to anililate China, the pollution would be enough to either wipe out America in turn. Even if this wasn't so the retalliatory nuclear strikes are enough to at the least severally weaken America.

i think china is hiding its actual stength.

during the cold war the soviet union had 1/4 of their manpower 1/3 of thier airforce and 1/3 of their navy on chinas border.

china would need more than 400Nukes to stop a soviet invasion.

china has three underground missle ranges to hold a capacity of 500-1000 missiles. all are over 1000km long. and they would keep 12 missles in them?

12 of them are moblie launchers.

it doesn't seem right.

nukes are cheaper than trying to match the US in conventional arms

Cheaper but not more effective, nukes are considered by all militaries as only a deterrent force beyond that there is little to no effectiveness in using them in war because of the property damage, fallout and the loss of human civilian lives.

Frankly, yes. The US is the largest importer of Chinese goods. Thats a fact. The US also controls TWENTY PERCENT OF THE WORLDS BUYING POWER. Think about that for a moment. Then, if the US stops buying from China, so will our allies. No more UK, no more Australia, etc etc etc. Chinas economy would fail.

Again, I have to dissagree. In a US nuclear first strike, the vast majority of Chinas nuclear arsenal would be taken out. A sub or two might get away, and China would probably get off some missles as well.

There are simply too many targets for China to shoot at and not enough nukes for them to cripple the US. Would we take a huge hit? Of course - you always do in nuclear war. But we would still have the vast majority of our military intact, especially if China chose to target US cities instead of military bases.

american mad man. do you know how chinas ICBMs are stored.? 12 in 1000km long undergound missle sites. and 12 moblie missiles. you need to launch a very large amount of missiles to gurantee tha chinas missiles are all destroyed. causing your own destruction through the destruction of the enviroment.

Tunnels are very effective at focusing force, like the barrel of a gun they channel the force for a longer distance than when the force is in an open environment. I can assure you that the USA is aware of china's tunnels and many of their underground facilities.

these arent normal tunnels.

they are hidden under 2km of earth.

these missles are probaly 500km apart.

As the old saying goes, "speak softly but carry a big stick." There is no need for the US to be outraged about Chinas claim as long as we carry the big stick were good.

Enjoy your tunnels chinawhite

You're outraged, though.

Tunnels lose their effectiveness easily in modern times. If I was a Chinese infantryman, I'd be pretty concerned about the tunnels collapsing on top of us while moving into position or something.

The tunnels are not to protect inf, but for defending the missile silo's from preemtive attacks. If a 2 silo's are 500 km apart a strike on one won't magically destroy the other.

In fact this is why trenchs in WWI were slanted so that a soldier who got in an enemy trench couldn't just fire down the trench.
