Are they any good? Could you search for military/government numbers and addresses?

You don't need software for that, you can just search military and gov't. stuff through the freedom of info. act. So yes, the software can probably do it as well.

I'm not familiar with investigation software, but I would suspect that it really only provides information that is already available to the public, just nicely condensed and in a pretty package. So you may want to do some reasearch into your research, so to speak, because if the info is not available to the public, you probably wont be able to get it with the software.
