how are the web designers and web developers meant to know when somthings wrong then

I said this in the other thread also.

The header images on any branching pages of the main page needs border="0" applied to them, they have a huge ugly black border around them and the ATS Main Page has an ugly grey bar across it. Like this screenshot. Someone said thats where the ads are supposed to be, but theres ads in that same spot on the Forums and it shows up fine, like this.

Also, I think this was happening before too, but something is causing Firefox and Opera to set the pages character set to Unicode, when the page says to use ISO-8859-1, and that change causes quotes to screw up. Iv only seen it do it on ATS too, other sites that have pages set as Western show up just fine as just that. Is there anything you can do about that? Could be due to default_charset in the php.ini file being set to UTF-8.

cpr12r, the grey box is where normaly the advertisement goes. I'm guessing your using a popup/ads blocker that doesn't kill ads entirely, just blocks them from displaying.

not only that if it still happen then thats fair enough normal people dont have ascreen resolution above 1024*768 indudtry standard is 800*600 so me included only code sites for 800*600 and 1024*768 working both on mozilla and IE

In Linux im using Gimp to acquire the screenshot. But in Windows you just gotta hit Print Screen and paste into any photo editing software.

Also, if you hit alt+printscreen, it just captures the active window.

SO said alternative is coming soon, right now you can still get off of ATSNN, I suggest adding it to your favorites or book marking it until the new option is provided.

Legibility at the top end of the screen is well down, but you get used to it.

The "ATS Board" tab is obviously differentiated as "Board" to distinguish from the main page but novice users might not find quickly that "PTS" and "BTS" are both Boards too. No problem once people are "in".

Why exactly was the font chosen that renders the the "A" in ATS less than an "A"? It looks symbolic of the letter A sinking into quicksand. Save the "Above" in Above Top Secret!

Did we do away with points? I don't see them anymore...
