ok, i have to agree there, not ALL of the skeptics were rude. but most of them were really rude and disrespectful of other people.

yeh fair point the perfect investigators for things like this should be skeptical but also have a open mind enough to be able to come to the conclusion there is no other variable to consider other than the possibility this is real
and snide remarks will not help such things

A child dies. Mother is devastated. Of course she goes through severe emotional trauma. Then she believe's her child is talking to her from the grave...

I would suggest psychiatric help to her. But then of course...she has written a book about it and given hope to other people who have experienced the same thing.

Suddenly, from a kook, she's now a hero.

A whole load of baloney in my eyes.

Ok..I am guilty of being rude, and apologize for it. I have reasons for the anger I feel about this subject however. I have a very open mind, but when I see so many people caught up in this wave of fraud, it really just sickens me. I will say that there is some truth to the changes that are happening now to earth and fellow man, but most of this is really just a bit much. For whatever reason, I have been designated an Earth Mother figure for star children.
They recognize me and me them.
I sometimes do photography of groups of children, and can easily recognize who is and who isn't.
They are srangers in a strange land and their parents have NO idea how to deal with them, but they are here to clean-up after the changes.
They know why they are here, and often we will discuss it, but they are secretive to those who do not recognize what they are.

Lucifer's Child and I seem to agree on this subject. I, too, am not a narrow-minded person, as some of you think. It just infuriates me to see people who obviously want to change things, thinking that this is the way that things will change. I'm pretty sure it isn't. While we're all sitting around waiting for these myriad (see Lucifer's post) amazing children to realize their purpose, we'll probably all go up in flames. And no, they won't be able to help "clean-up" when we're all toast. This whole world is out of control on every level, and I believe there isn't a lot of time to wait for these kids to grow up and figure it out, or for aliens to make contact, et cetera, et cetera.

And, just for the record, I'm not waiting for Jesus or any other godlike being to swoop down and fix things either.

This "star children" thing is just a huge ego trip, and an escape mechanism, and it takes attention away from the situation at hand. And apparently it's also cool just to know how to identify and help these people, if you're not lucky enough to actually be one. Good thing there are people out there who can identify these beings from the stars...

When I was a kid, I thought I was a pirate. Eventually someone either explained it to me, or I figured it out on my own, that I was not a pirate. In photographs of me and other children, you could have identified the pirate child because it had on an eye patch or a plastic sword. I'm guessing it's nearly as easy to pick out the kids who think they're from outer space and have a special purpose to save the world. Maybe they don't wear a Star Trek pin, but it really boils down to the same thing. However, when I was little, no one actually supported my theory that I was a pirate. Good thing. Reality is eventually good for children, or they grow up to be delusional adults. Sounds like some people I know.

And isn't it maybe sorta possible that these kids were influenced into thinking and acting a certain way? As popular as these theories are becoming, the parents and/or "earth mother figures" of these kids might have something to do with their behavior. I have a feeling these kids could be from parents who are "special" in their own right.

Sorry to come along and try to burst everyone's bubble. I've been told on this thread to shut up and let the believers just enjoy this belief. But, I don't think that's my purpose. I see all this as silly and maybe even irresponsible in some circumstances.

Stop being weak. Feeling warm and fuzzy will help nothing in a world that's on the downward spiral. I think we need warriors right now more than we need "star children." Don't depend on anyone to save you but you.

Star children are just another word for prodigy. Prodigies have nothing special about them, only the fact that there intelligence might be higher. Most "new agers" are trying to put a word over something that is already existing, and trying to put a price tag on it. It's not hard to scope out the frauds, it's only hard to let yourself believe that there might be real ones out there.

I'm open-minded. But Star-children? Give me a break.

For heavens sake...I have read all about the indigo's sar children, etc. To think that people with those qualities NEVER existed before on earth is extremely absurd.....It isn't a unique occurance for this age just a personality trait That's ALL... Read some history....

Exactly, you said it yourself. Why would Star Children be now known if they haven't already and spread their 'wisdom'? Star Children is just a new name for prodigies.

This new age ideal is not going to help. We don't believe in prodigies. We believe in denying ignorance. We gain knowledge by obtaining information about the things we ask.

Wisdom isn't a thing you are born with, it's something you acquire as you experience life.

Same with knowledge.

Hey, St. Udio, I think you gave us a really interesting post there. I completely agree that it's a mind control tool, and I believe that most new age concepts sprung from the feminist movement and really turned dangerous.

Just within the new age community itself, the leaders (mostly women - "earth mothers") use concepts and labels like "star children" to give a false sense of empowerment to people who are insecure and looking for something to cling to that will make them feel like better people. Unfortunately it's all completely made-up, false, fake. I've seen infomercials that looked more believable than this stuff.

Anyway, we could start a whole new thread on what all this could eventually lead to. A bunch of zombies walking around believing they have divine wisdom, when they're just cult drones.

Sounds like evolution to me. Nothing more, nothing less.
