What the hell are these things

When i was like 9 or 10 or something i had this freaky experience...
I was in bed and was suddenly woken up there was nothing unusual happening everything was okay until i felt this thing at the end of my bed like something crawling on it when i looked down i could see these little men crawling on my bed there was a few it was between 5-8 little men...
they looked like the small soldiers from that film or the little people from gullavers travels or the borrowers they looked like a mix between all these people but i hadn't watched any of these films that night...
it was so freaky i crawled outta my bed and fell, while running into my mom's room i fell again finally hitting myself on the corner of the bed it was so freaky i ran into my mom and dads bed at 9 years old if anybody has seen these people aswell please tell

I don't think these are linked to my visions my visions are different to this maybe this is a nu species of creature that decide to kidnap me in the middle of the night, Since the Irish are very joined to folklore and the like maybe i was just a target becoz i'm irish

All over the world there are legends, folklore, and myths surrounding little people. Elves, dwarfs and suchI have a couple of books on the subject.

A lot of what it is may just be the mind playing tricks on people, but many can't be explained by conventional means.

In fact where I am from, there are legends of things called Toatoamona's. They can be evil or good, and range in size from small fairy type creatures to, large earth moving beasts....very fascinating....

as to what exactly you saw, that remains to be seen....

Its definately nothing to laugh at. I've never seen anything weird, exept a couple of ghosts, but i have heard of people having these experiences.

Is it possible you were dreaming this? I have had alot of dreams of waking up in my bed, and something very unusual happens, and it seems real but later I realize I was asleep. When I was very young this happened where I thought there was a bunch of people in my room looking at me. It took a long time to convince me that I wasnt awake when I saw that, because it seemed so real and I remembered the dream with such great detail.

I'd have to agree with the last poster, especially since you were 9 at the time. I'd almost certainly be willing to bet you were having a dream. You're also at a very imaginative stage in your life, which also comes into play when being unable to distinguish fact from fiction. I'm 23, but about a month ago I had a nightmare that a tall man with a tophat was standing at the end of my bed, and said "It's time to go" or something along those lines. I jumped up, threw my blankets at what I thought was the tall man, and ran out of my room. My brother was awake at the time and saw me and laughed when I told him what I saw. Anyway, there's a tall lamp in my room right where I thought I saw this guy standing. That's what it probably was (unless I just imagined it entirely).

Were you paralyzed at first? It *might* have been a short sleep paralysis vision. But it might have been just a dream, especially because they didn't...well...react when you climbed out of your bed.

Never heard of gnomes on the big cities...........they have big rats instead. A bit more sick, but also more normal then to see Gnomes

Seriously, that was my first thought, hehe....but on a more paranormal note, assuming you aren't just yanking our chain, research into the "faerie folk", sprites, elves, brownies, leprechauns, nymphs, dryads, gnomes, or any other variety of diminutive humanoids, may prove enlightening.....

When researching Fearie folk, it may help your research to know that those particular "myths" originated with the Celts. What may not help much with the research is that nearly all of what is known about the faerie folk is written by the Romans...

The Celts (actually, Keltoi) had a very rich tradition of these beings but they had no real written language. The Romans have undoubtedly "colored" much of those traditions with their own preconceived notions & bias.

I dont think you are. a couple of years ago, A bunch of friends were over at my house for a cookout. About 3 in the morning someone decided to go to the store, when he walked out of the house, we heard him yelp and when we went outside I personally saw a set of hands on the side of my car with a head poking around it. There were several of these little men in my yard looking around and then they suddenly disapeared. Still to this day don't know what they are.
