The california national guard has come up with a great way to deal with the threats of islamic terrorists and insurgents. They've came up with a flier (now posted in their headquarters) which suggests that the USA execute Islamic terrorists with bullets dipped in pig's blood to deny them entry to heaven.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. Jul 12, 2005 — Islamic leaders and peace groups are criticizing the California National Guard for a flier posted in its headquarters suggesting the United States execute Islamic terrorists with bullets dipped in pig's blood to deny them entry to heaven.

The flier attributed the practice to World War I General John J. Pershing.

"Maybe it is time for this segment of history to repeat itself, maybe in Iraq?" the flier stated. It was posted outside a cubicle in the Guard's Civil Support Division.

A second flier showed the wings and tail of a bomber forming a peace sign with the slogan, "Peace the old fashioned way."

Also posted was a cartoon from a Web site showing a Red Crescent ambulance stuffed with weapons and a caricature that looks like the late-Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat unloading the weapons.

Guard spokesman Lt. Col. Doug Hart at first defended the postings to the San Jose Mercury News, which reported them Tuesday, but Hart later said they had been removed.

Peace activists spotted the fliers during a tour last week.

The tour came after peace groups and a state senator questioned whether a new Guard unit had been formed to spy on U.S. citizens and had monitored a Mother's Day anti-war rally. A federal investigation of the allegations is underway.

Amazing the things one can find in the news if one looks for it.

Is the 72 virgins any more ingrained in Islam than streets paved with gold is ingrained in Christianity?

Also, is coming in contact with pigs blood going to deny them entrance into heaven any more than eating meat on a Friday or masturbating might deny a Catholic entry?

Shooting an Islamic captive with bullets dipped in pig's blood may have a restraining effect on the executioner's passage to heaven, too. How would we know?

To beat the war on terror it's clear we also need a war on mythology.

It's a great idea dipping the bullet's in pig's blood! Not to sure how the pig's will like it though!

Sounds like it might be something worthwhile trying.

I think after 9/11 the Thai PM (or someone in that gov't) suggested bombing all the Muslims with pig fat or something. Similar idea.

I've heard stories of Jewish settlers surrounding their towns with pigs, as Muslims on their way to martyrdom cannot even come in contact with pigs.

As for the idea of dipping bullets in pig's blood... if it scares our enemies then I'm all for it. Now all we need is a nuclear pig blood bomb!

It seems to fail you the martyrdom aspect of Muslim terrorists. For them to die by the hands of the enemy, while fighting for their own god, is their salvation, that martyrdom gains them access to their heaven.

Why don't you just believe that Muslim religion is the right way to worship god, that not fighting and killing for their god denies you heaven. Doesn't fit your bill does it ............ niether does yours to them. You think Christinity is the right way for everything, but you are only thinking of a Christian perspective, of which, everyone outside your role could give a damn less.

Crap, forgot my thread reply. I agree with this, I mean hell, if it works it works. Pre-knowledge of denial to ones heaven if caught could be a hell of a deterant. But then, we have many deterants in place, but it doesn't deter much of anything.

I seriously doubt this will stop any terrorist, but if for some reason it does, well, I am 100% behind it. Anyone insane enough to kill innocent people or strap a bomb to themselves just isn't going to care if someone shoots them with a clean bullet or one soaked in pig's blood, Muslim or not.

Besides, how would the terrorist even know there was pig's blood on the bullet in the first place? If the bullet misses, he'll never see it. If it hits, his own blood is going to be all over the place, and will be indistinguishable from the pig's blood.

Might seem outlandish but it would be effective....

its not what you believe, its what they believe. you tell them something, based on their religion, and it strikes fear into them. It doesnt work the same by just saying "In my religion, you go to hell".

How long is it going to take for the minority animal rights activists proclaminig this is cruelty to animals and needs to be ceased.

Seriously folks, the easiest way to defeat your enemies is to first understand them and then know who they actually are.

While your at it, look up the history of Arab Assassins and you'll see that for hundreds of years brain washing has occured in order to produce killers and would do that by offering them 'heaven'. It's really an amazing part of history to read about and if you follow it through, you'll see that the CIA have been using modern versions of this history to create it's own killbots.

Am I to believe that the public would accept a blood-dipping ritual with bullets knowing full well that at least some of these bullets will be tearing through the flesh of people who had nothing to do with any violence? You would deny innocents of their right to their faith based final destination?
