WeComeInPeace was keeping track but this thread went dead for awhile.
Haven't seen him around lately?

Sorry, folks. I've been lurking about this thread and there's been some awesome input and a ream of votes, I see. But with new mod duties, recent RL craziness, and only being able to log on at work, I'm completely flat out at the moment *pant pant*. Should have Internet set up on my home computer next week, at which time I'll update the stats and poll graphic.

Hehe.

Could I please be added to category C when the next tally is being calculated?

ThatsJustWeird (after reading the post twice, I concluded it amounts to "Accept the official story")

What exactly is the official story?
Is it that terrorists have been planning to do something like that since the mid 90s and were finally able to carry it out. The intel agencies knew that plans like that or similar were trying or actually being worked out. But they didn't know the (exact) how, or most importantly the when.

Could you be more specific when you say the government had prior knowledge? Sure they knew something like that was being planned but there's not one shred of credible evidence to suggest they allowed it to happen or were the ones who carried it out.

Nice!

For once, this site actually looks like a conspiracy site. Granted, I haven't visited every single area here, but the areas I frequent have a surprising number of people who think conspiracies are bunk. Good to see that long list of names who pick C; it makes the "you're just nut jobs" argument that much weaker.

lol
1. I said credible evidence
2. All those hits are referencing the same article
3. Did I mention I would like to see credible evidence?
4. www.google.com...
almost 13 million hits

Pick a random year. Put in any conspiricy theory like "alien invasion" for example. You'll get at least 100,000 hits. What does that mean?
Absolutely nothing.

I hardly think I could be part of the "official story", just because I don't think they planned it. As I said before, the slant only proves what you intend it to, not much else.

So...

We have the CNN poll from last year, the CNN poll from the Charlie Sheen story, the Zogby poll from NYC, and this poll on ATS. These polls show a surprisingly large number of people who refute the official story. What does this mean?

Has everyone gone crazy, or is it likely that the official story truly is BS.

Put me down for an A....as stated early by others, there is no other explaination.

I've still not decided if A)I believe the Bush Administration was directly behind the attacks or B)Certain key personel, namely Bush, were incompetent enough, or at least taken advantage of, so that the attack could be carried out and directed by other high-level officials who were working as rogue-agents within the administration. It's doubtful that Bush doesn't have a clue of what's going on... but it's sure as heck possible.

I think Bush is not the smartest tool in the shed. However, Cheney, Rumsfeld etc., however I feel about their morality, are brilliant and so I have trouble believing that these guys just dropped the ball. In addition to all the evidence that has been presented, showing that these guys had prior knowledge, one can't ignore the fact that these guys, and those that put them into power, had EVERYTHING to gain from a relatively large-scale "terrorist" attack on America. And that's speaking strictly from the business angle of all this, not even mentioning NWO implications etc.

So I don't think I have a clear-cut understanding of the role Bush plays in all this... he could've been the puppet in all of this or he could've known about it. I don't know whether the definitive motivation behind this attack was financial, political, or even apocalyptic... or all three, which is certainly possible. But what IS clear to me is that this attack was either carried out directly or condoned and allowed by the top ranks of the U.S. Government and beyond. This was not a lapse in security, per se. And where I come from... if you witness a premeditated and brutally savage murder, unless you come forward and help capture the perpetrator, you are just as guilty.

So my answer to this poll is C.

The Bush Admin. was caught with their pants down & orchestrated a massive cover-up. Realistically, they had no more specific information then any prior administration. Being in office for less than nine months is hardly enough time to plan such an operation, so if any administration is to blame it would be the Clinton Admin.

If that isn't the official story, then I don't know what is.
The above paragraph could just as easily be the introductory paragraph to the 9-11 Commission Report. But if you like, I'll mark you down as a Conscientious Objector. Your call.

what does this mean?

www.google.com..."tower+seven"

i get 14, 600 hits.

the first one that has anything top do with WTC7 is on the third page of results.
apparently, 911 searches are second only to porn searches on the net.

wierd. it's not like i searched, "antipasto aluminization"(zero hits), or, "frantic nun"(247, 000 hits).

The bulk of the official story appears to be true IMO. Im going with option A.

I cant say fully b or c. Im inbetween the two.

While I believe that some parts of 9/11 were indeed deliberate inside jobs, I believe the rest of it was done with the full knowldge and assistance, but without the direct participation, of the Bush Junta.

I agree with the paratrooper on here. No Doubt in my mind either.

But to jump on the talk here Bush has absolutely no excuse for saying they could never anticpate what the terrorists would do because the CIA and the Able Danger program knew who these terrorists were and what they were up to before 9/11.

The Administration has absolutely no leg to stand on when they use that argument. On top of that as I keep stressing before 9/11 numourous intelligences agencies from around the world warned Bush that terrorists were going to strike. Hijacking planes has been a popular method in the middle east in the past so the administration should have automatically assumed they would go for planes.
