I hope France realizes they could be next and gets on board in the fight on these savages instead of coddling them.

France was in Afghanistan from the start. What the hell are you talking about.

Maybe you should grow a heart and care for some of these people, instead of looking to start flames and debates. Some priority change is needed maybe?

I'm a British citizen and an Australian citizen. I have my whole extended family in the UK. I have nothing else to say to you.

I want to start of by sending my condolences to all the families of the victims and my prayers to all of the people who were injured in the terrible London terrorist bomb attacks.

However... What happened in London was only a fraction of what goes on in many other countries ten times a day.

Why the big hype? or is that just typical media sensationalism?
Why does the rest of the world not get the same attention and sympathy or are we just used to seeing children in other parts of the world getting blown apart by landmines and mortars?

Please do not think for a second that I'm implying that the horror and trauma is any less in London but there was barely a news channel not covering the London blasts when it happened whilst at that very same moment woman and children were also being killed every where esle by similar means with out the benefit of ambulance services and hospitals to help them.

Again, I'm not disrespecting what happened in London but take a second to think about others who constantly suffer these horrors on a daily basis.

its because when it happens on your own doorstep its all the more real.

my msn name: ''bombs are part of everyday life in iraq...only now we care because it's happening to us''.

this was inevitable and nothing was done even to minimise the chances. now we'll see over protection, like a police state. better save up £300, you're going to need those id cards as well, which blair will now be able to push on to the frightened public.

I doubt it.The British are against id cards. These would not have prevented the bombings.Terrorist are citizens of countries and are allowed to enter countries just the same as everybody else.It is possible that British citizens were behind these attacks. The main organiser of the Madrid bombings is a British born Muslim who had no previous convictions therefore he would have been granted an ID card and allowed to move freely. So no the aguement against the cards will still be valid.

Agree 100% with what you say.

I would also say in London the mood is 'we were lucky, it was bound to happen and the death toll is on a par with recent train crashes'. Not to minimise the impact of the bombings and time may tell & the mood may change but the 'drama' of it is mainly a media invention.

Quite a few people traveling on the Tube tonight, the pubs are full and everyone's very philosophical - 'it's just another thing we have to deal with living in the capital'.

We're very used to bombs here, there isn't the shock of 11-9 at all.

I don't know if anyone has posted this yet, but we now have pictures of the bombers on the way to kill dozens and dozens of innoncent people. I love how the BBC files this under "politics".

Image of bombers' deadly journey
Police have released a CCTV image of the four London bombers as they set out from Luton on their bombing mission. Mohammad Sidique Khan, 30, Germaine Lindsay, 19, Hasib Hussain, 18, and Shehzad Tanweer, 22, were pictured in Luton at 0720 BST on Thursday 7 July.

Three bombs exploded on the London underground at 0850 BST, and one on a bus at 0947. Fifty-five people died, including the four bombers.

[I don't know if anyone has posted this yet,

I think many people have observed this image many times

Where have you been?

A fair number of people don't go along with the government-promulgated spin that you repeat in the message you put along with the image

These guys were dupes, not terrorists

O right!
Obviously these men aren't at gunpoint, so they must have been told that they were on a secret mission or something with those backpacks.

"I killed over 50 innocent people. I'm such a dupe/clutz/nitwit. Please forgive my ignorance. O silly me. Someone gave me a backpack and told me to go stand down at King's Station and wait until 9 o'clock. I did just as I was told and never looked in the backpack. By coincidence I hung out with 3 other guys for a while who did the same thing. We were all such dupes.

While we were standing around talking with these backpacks we had never seen before on our backs, we noticed during conversation that we were Muslims. I wonder if someone is trying to make us look bad? O well. He we all go off to our stations. I hear that there's some sort of reward for carrying these backpacks around and waiting at a designated spot. Something about 72 virgins. One last thing. Just before 9 o'clock we are all supposed to yell Allah Aaaaaaakbaaaah. I think that means "Surprise!" in Arabic. "

And 'surprisingly' they didn't
Ever thought for a moment why the backpacks are so big for supposed 10lb bombs?
Because the bombs were hidden in seemingly innocuous packing should they take a look in their backpacks?

All the Moderators here seem to be clones of the same ' We can accept the official story without proof and in spite of glaring inconsistencies but will keep chanting "You have no proof" to all those who don't accept the official story in spite of their diligent attempts to be logical and express themselves clearly' drone.

Well at least the ones that I have seen.

I think that the point we have been making over and over is that the photo you posted does not provide evidence which points to the official conspiracy theory rather than the Inside job cvonspiracy theory.

Both theories are consistent with the video footage (although saying this is being generous to the official theory), so parading the photo as evidence to 'prove' the official conspiracy story is dishonest.

If you let this particular penny drop then we could raise the level of the discussion but perhaps you don't want that?

Do you actually think that you wouldn't notice if someone slipped an extra 10 lbs. into your backpack? One of them might be used to lugging around bags of nails, but what are the odds that none of them would notice? Just as a test, put a gallon of water in your backpack and put it on. See if you can tell the difference. (1 gallon = 8.33 lbs.) First think you would do is ask yourself "What the heck is in my backpack?" Especially if you had to walk around with it for any distance further than across the room.

It's true that the picture doesn't prove who was behind the attack, but it does show the 4 of them together and indicates a definite plan of attack. Who was behind the planning? We can only guess for now.

I think it's because they use common sense when coming to a conclusion and don't believe all the 'ducky-lucky' type claims as some here so unfortunately do.

Did I ever suggest it was'slipped in'
It was a given item
How ridiculous - such oversized rucksacks
Bound to attract attention
So how passengers interviewed on the same train journey a week later on Sky News never mentioned them
The explosive was well concealed in the backpacks
As you know, suicide bombers traditionally carry it around their waist
This is a conflagration of the Madrid bombings with the the Palestinian type bombings and it stinks

Just read a report from the DHS that says one of the original London Bombers is connected to a plot to set up a terror training camp in Ore..

Investigators probing the London terror bombings are focusing on an elusive British Muslim suspect who is connected to a previous plot to set up a terrorist training camp in rural southern Oregon, according to U.S. counterterrorism officials.

Like I posted in another section. There here too, just waiting...
