I can't understand that last statement. Perhaps if you typed with better grammar, you'd be understood better. He said there would be no Olympics after 2008. He said he wouldn't reveal events that would help people avoid death by probability. Revealing 9/11 would have done so. Please go back and re-read the John Titor story before you post.

What he ment is: You could decide not to go to work on 9/11 if you believed the story of John Titor and avoid death by probability.. Since John didnt give a specific date (day-month) How do you know when to leave the country if a civil war starts and avoid death by probability? You can't, except maybe at the start of it which means you are probably to late anyway..

Revealing specific events would help his cause in proving he is a time traveler. So far he has released no statements other than "I am a time traveler from 2036" that corraborate his claims of being a time traveler. Maybe he should rethink his original idea.

If Titor said he is not going to release information about events like 9/11, 3/11 and 7/7 that might be used to cheat death, then why would he release information about an American Civil war that causes 3 Billion to be killed? That makes no sense.

I don't think Titor is a fake. I am a citizen of the United States of America, and right now I am fighting a civil war, but most of us won't realize it is a civil war, that has nothing to do with republicans v. democrats, until 2008... those morons.

I think Titor was a fake, albeit a very clever one.

He pulled the wool over the eyes of a lot of people for a long time, though, and I think that's what he set out to do... John Titor's mission was accomplished when the first unsuspecting person was duped.

Titors pictures, of his time machine, looks like a load of old junk purchased from ebay and gaffer taped into his car!! He probably sits in it fantasizing about far away worlds that don’t exist.

Star Trek has been making predictions for years but it aint down to Gene Roddenburry being a time traveller or some kind of mystic. No, they just looked at current science and guessed what direction it would go in. In some areas they got it right... Like the communications device, video phones, automatic doors and non-invasive surgery. All predicted in star trek during the 60's. Aint magic... just forward thinking!

To be honest I actually feel sorry for this Titor guy... I rekon you have to be a very sad individual to spend so many hours thinking up the story and collecting all the props to back up the story. What worries me is how gullible people can be. I could go on but I think some people would find my comments offensive and I have no wish to hurt anyone.

So what does that have to do with Titor's pictures? Just because someone can make plane parts on T.V., doesn't mean that John Titor is a fraud.

Predicting that we will land on a moon is a little different from predicting that CERN is going to create a microsingularity in their lab with out destroying matter. If making predictions are so easy, make one. C'mon, do it.

This was the best part of your post. Again, predicting Mad Cow and microsingularities is a little more than "forward thinking." And he never said anything about the advancement of technology, except that the Internet was faster.

It take a little more than a few hours to come up with a brilliant hoax like that. You can't discredit someone without real facts. Your opinion was all based on, "Yeah, I can make predictions, too. And those pictures looked fake." If you want to form an opinion, use facts.

Titor claims that he is not hear to "prove" he is from the future but to collect an outdated computer that they need in the future.... Yawn... ok... Something which no one has looked into and that was the fact that all his "predictions" are based on one's that already existed. There is hundreds of predictions by religous group dating back to the end of the Cold war who believe Russia will nuclear strike America in the near future. The second US Civil war theory has been around since the 80's and some of his theories are based on prophets from history. He was nothing special. All he did was research predictions and theories, then made his own based on them.

Titor wasn't a hoax, just a guy(or girl) who made predictions and gave an interesting story to get attention. Thats all it is. And he isn't the first to do it either.
