I have this pen that I keep by my telephone to write checks, sign papers, ect. Before it used to seem to disappear every so often, and I'd find it in another place, I didn't think anything of it at the time, but now it seems like this happens every other day or so. I know that no one else is touching the pen, and it still goes missing, only to be later found in an obvious place.

Also, there has been little holes appearing in my walls, they appear like a BBhole at first, until closer examination.

Nothing else is happening to my knowledge. Do you think my house could possibly be haunted?

Definately. Normally objects disappearing and reappearing in random locations throughout your home is the work of entities.

I used to have this pentacle necklace that I would always wear. When I went to sleep and woke up the next morning it was gone from my neck. About a year later it appeared in one of my kitchen drawers.

I've tried telling my family members this, but they do not believe one word I'm saying. They don't seem to take the paranormal very seriously. Is there anyway I might be able to prove this to them?

For most people that is next to impossible. If however your family knows without a doubt that you would never, ever, play this sort of trick then you have a shot.

The only way I could think of would be to involved someone in what is happening somehow. If you could for example show them the pen is where it is supposed to be, lock the door to the room, and give them the key, AND... the pen actually moves, it is still a maybe.

In my experience tests like this rarely work, you are changing the conditions and focusing attention in a new way. Also, the person you are involving will most likely not want anything to happen and this does seem to affect events of this sort.

Everyone has a different level of 'open mindedness' and until something happens to them it is hard to change that. And since most things of this sort are not obvious you have to be a little open to the possibility to even notice.

Sorry to say but I have no earthly idea. Unless you get one of your family members to stay in your house for a few days and see if any of there belongings get switched around.

How about keeping a diary of when and where you leave the pen ? Its easy to misplace thing like pens, keys and other small items I myself have bad short term memory and often misplace things or just put them in the wrong place when im not concentrating eg : I've put spoons in the bin and tea bags in the frezzer, this normally happens when im pre-occupied with other thoughts not paying attention to the task at hand.

I doubt that he actually carries the pen out of that room. Like he said, he keeps it by his desk.

Keep in mind tho, if this is the occurance, that this entity need not necessarily be of bad sorts, nor necessarily is the house itself haunted.
I say this as, I have had for years, more years than I can trace back, an entity that is wherever I am. Not a bad one, in fact he screws with me on a regular basis (lending me to believe it is a young entity).

Perhaps you could play back? Get another pen, or few, as close in resemblance as you can, and follow your own lead. ie: are the locals you find the pen roughly the same? If so, leave one there. Just, play with him !! lol I see no cause for prospective alarm of doing so, as taking your pen elswhere is definately playful (as opposed to, hmm, waiting til you go for the pen, then him picking it up and jabbing out your eyeballs!!! NOT playful, lolol.

Do you recall how long this has went on? Lived in that home long? Was it before you moved there? Just whatever you can think of to correlate with each other.

Also, you said ......... "they appear like a BBhole at first, until closer examination" ......... what did they then appear to be? Basing on whatever your wall material is, can it be degredation of the wall itself? Termites?

BTW - after at least 20 years I can recal of my friend, 2 Halloweens ago I got a quick glimps of him - he was BEAUTIFUL !! Had never thought about a visual, guess he thought after so long with me that he'd divulge a bit, heh.

Check your dry wall to see if there are any termites. I'll check and see the the holes have any paranormal significance.

Well, I was thinking termites too, but...they really don't have an interest in chalk board as far as I know. My house is over 90 years old, and I dont want rid of the ghost, I just would like to know if there is one.

And the holes look more or less like an Ice Pick was put through the wall. But one of the holes is in my office (at home) and I keep it locked. So couldn't have been one of my kids. The other is in the stairway leading to the basement, and in my living room. Not sure if there's anymore.

Here I am in this darn forum again...ugh! I try to stay outa here. There is really is nothing to be concerned about. I too have something with me at all times, since childhood, it has been with me always and I have no doubt that it has saved my life on more than one occasion. Things go missing, everyone in the house looks everywhere and it will end up in clear view on the table, or in the middle of the room....it finds things for me. TV, Washing machine, lights, go off or on.....and you can feel it very easily. I have attemped communication years ago.....but no sure class as to who it is.... As long as nothing is harming or threatening....don't be concerned!

Well if holes in your walls keep appearing then it is most likely a spirit.

Do you guys/ladies think that events may become more noticable in time?

Oh, and thanks for all of the usefull information everyone.

What do you mean?

That this spirit will do more than take pens and tear holes in your walls? If so, I doubt that this entity will start to harass your family. I think it's your best bet to just live with it.

I've had small items like this get lost and show up in places that I know they weren't previously. It only happened for a 6-8 months or so..then it stopped...It was very weird. Maybe it will stop for you and you won't be bothered with it much longer. It's probably not harmful.

Well then, that's good to know. I suppose if it's not dangerous then no harm in it sticking around.

How long have you lived at the house and how long has this been happening?

JBurns,

Are the holes in your walls spread out? concentrated? all walls, or same wall from diff sides? What I am thinking is, were the holes a product of an entity, then what in the walls does the entity want to you see? Did that come out right? lol

Are you states, as in, you have sheetrock?

And yes, how long have you been in that house, along with, how long since first occurance?

We have lived here for rougly 10 years now, and my house is on the upperside of 90 years old, I believe. They are single holes, and spread out in various locations.

Is it a possibility that the entity is trying to show him something BEHIND the walls?
