In order to understand the meaning behind the ANTICHRIST, one needs to know why he does come and for what reasons.
There are no frontrunners as such.........The Antichrist will appear when his time is ready for him to be accepted.Anytime before that he wont
come.
Antichrist means ....instead of......opposite of
So whatever Jesus Christ was the Antichrist will be the Opposite......BUT he will be cunning in his ways in order to DECEIVE .....he will allow all
sorts of MIRACLES to happen in order for the people to believe in him.
He will use all sorts of deception mainly power in the AIR.....aerial realm, for there is his power ......he is therefore called PRINCE OF THE AIR by
Christ.
All this will be allowed by Jesus Christ because many did not believe in Him.
In order to properly understand the true meaning of Antichrist you have to know that Jesus Christ had a Prophet who was St John the Babtist, who
proclaimed Him to the world , that He was the Christ(''The CHRIST actually means the annointed one...Old Testament reference.) that the World
awaited from the Old Testament.......
quote///The word “messiah” (meshiah.) — is from the Hebrew and means “anointed,” i.e. anointed by the Holy Spirit. In the Greek translation
it is written “Christos.”
In ancient times(Old Testament), the anointed were called kings, prophets and High Priests, because during their ordination to these positions holy
oil was poured on their heads, as the symbol of the grace of the Holy Spirit, which they received in order to successfully execute the responsibility
placed on them.
So in like manner, also the ANTICHRIST will have for himself a prophet that proclaims him to the world....
Jesus Christ started His ministry at around the age of 30 yrs old......so also this will be done by the Antichrist.
Jesus Christ came for all who understood Him as the one that the prophets of the Old were prophesising about.......
(I have posted about the prophecies of the Old Testament in another post)
quote///
He told the Judeans that they should delve into the Scriptures, because the Scriptures witness of Him (John 5:39).
He also said that He is the Stone, Who is to sit on the right hand of the Father, alluding to Psalm 110 (Mt. 22:44).
Jesus Christ also said that He was the “Stone” cast out by the “builders,” alluding to the well-known prediction in Psalm 118 (Mt. 21:42).
Before His sufferings Jesus Christ reminded His followers that “that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me” (Luke 22:37, Is. 53rd
ch.).
During the trial before Caiaphas, to the direct question of the high priest whether he is “Christ, the Son of God,” Christ answered in the
affirmative and reminded him of the prophecy of Daniel about the Son of Man (Matt. 26:63-64, Dan. 7:13),
and His acknowledgment served as the formal reason for His condemnation to death. After His resurrection form the dead, Christ reproached His apostles
for being “slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken” (Luke 24:25).
So in a similar manner the Antichrist will do.
Maitreya if he is anything.......probably a false prophet who is claiming to be the ONE that the WORLD is waiting for.
The Antichrist will appear on a world stage and everyone shall know of him....he will so to say ''have the problems of the world'' in his
hands......he will pretend to solve them but in fact he will think of ways to destroy all who stand in his way ......
Where does the Antichrist come from?
"And in the latter times of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark
sentences, shall stand up." (Daniel 8:23)
Who are the current forerunners?
Only time will tell......we dont have the time set but we have signs to watch for....
so it is said....
"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God that in due time he may exalt you. Cast all your anxieties on him, for he cares about you.
Be sober, be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith." (In
the 1st Holy Epistle of the Apostle Peter 5:6-9).
