We all have to keep an open mind to all of the possiblities out there. There could be more to the after life than Heaven and Hell.

The reason I feel it is spirits is because sometimes I say things that the person I am reading to has no idea what I am talking about but then they call me months later stating that they finally realized what I was saying and who I was talking about.

I see it that you are able to put the pieces together quite a bit better than most. The future is always waiting to be written, and as we do that we have all sorts of possible choices. Anything can happen but really everything has a certain chance of happening that is not just random. People make it all happen, so the better you know people the better you are at seeing what they are going to do.

This is a process that does not involve what we call the rational part of our brain, but it is something we can all do to some degree or another. You sound like you are good at it.

andy1033,

just what happens from my point of view is really irellevant because i like all you lot also have been conditioned to think what we think, and no one really thinks for themselves.

The degree to which humans are conditioned as you describe it is highly variable. In general it is much lower than you seem to think it is. Indeed some people spend whole lifetimes doing nothing but thinking for themselves.

Knowledge does not like to be contained. If a person knows something it affects their actions. They do things, accomplish things, change things, because of what they know. People notice, they wonder, they learn.

The secrets you speak of have been spoken in public many times, whatever 'They' learn, within a generation or two, everyone can know if they simply make the effort to look.

when youre speaking about people that are not conditioned, you most probably are talking about people outside the western world. you would have to agree that in the western world people are taught from an early age, how to behave, how to look at things, how to react to things, what they must do in life etc... if anyone steps out side the norm, they useually get called different things etc... to bring them back in to the norm.
also with the schooling we have in the west, how can 1 really think for themselves, it is not really a requirement anymore, even when i went to school, the schooling was being changed to what it is today.
it is like you said everything that you take in and see effects who you become and how you see things, so the conditioning is very important in the west. i cannot really comment elsewhere because i have no experience of outside the western world.

What do you Beileve Happens when you Die

Well, because I beleive in nothing, the only thing I think we will be doing when we die is become maggot food. Its egotistical to think we will be jamming up in heaven with Grandpa and Jesus. So yes, when we die, we will simply be fertilizer and nothing more...Thats all....

I believe we dissolve in every sense of the word. Since our ideas of our minds and our
souls seem to be the products of our physical, mortal brains, It would naturally follow that when our brains die, that's it for individuality. It seems to me that beliefs in something more are desperate clinging to our senses of individuality as well as
an overactive imagination. So, if we just become undifferentiated energy, why care one
way or another, since ideas of an afterlife usually still involve some notion that we matter as the individuals we are. I have to admit that I have some residual wishful thinking about there being more, but what I know of science tells me that it isn't so, at
least not in any sense that could please me as a living being. But then, we'll all find out, right?

I believe in reincarnation, in a sense. You see, the law of conservation of energy states that energy may converted from one form to another but cannot be created or destroyed. I believe that the energy inside our bodies right now will leave our bodies and transfer to another form of life, be it an animal, plant, etc when we die.

The Conservation of Mass is a principle that really makes me think. That's why everyday I'm finding reincarnation more plausible than anything else. In my honest opinion, the thoughts of just DYING and that being the end of it just sounds impossible.

I just think that is you take my favorite persons theory e=mc2 and you make the speed of light a variable you have all the answers you could posssibly want about alternate realities and where energy can go.

Of course impossible to prove while you are traveling at this speed of light although quarks do fade in and out and no one knows where they really go when they are in the OUT phase.

It can also answer black holes theories if you change the speed of light thus it would type of energy in relation to the mass.

Just my humble opinion. I know for sure energy that is not my own contacts me when I do readings and always has and hopefully always will.

I also know that when I am resting in a diferent wave state I can hear things I do not hear normally.....and I am not a skitz, nor do I drink or do drugs or have hallucinations or smoke and I am basicaly a vegetarian.

One day we all will know and maybe we can report back to those we have left behind. Until then just theories like G_d.

Faith in the after life is that fear that we do not leave here after not doing much.

My overall believe is that everybody has their own preconceived idea of "eternity". Let's say for example that I led a good life, and believe that I will go to heaven, and I imagine as heaven as what's commently explained to be the light at the tunnel or whatever, with trees, an people walking around wearing all white, sitting by a huge crystal clear sea or something...... well then. that's what I'll see! I think the possibilites of what lie beyond are endeless, but with the general fear of the unknown... we "imagine" what is familair to us, (stories we've heard etc.) or what we believe to be our own doom, if they're not quit "heavenly" so to speak...

I don't know what it will be like, but I must admit that I have a real fear of physically dying but still being conscious and alone. What happens if, when you die, it is just basically like being in a dark room, alone with your thoughts and inner voice, forever.

Just visualizing what you said does sound scary. I wonder though, if maybe the human body, through this present universal intelligent design is preprogramed after death, to go into the light and feel an inner peace, much like a person that meditates by him/herself.

With the new OOBE research i believe in Reincarnation now its made a believer out of me

I am also very fond of the idea that when you die it is just like when you sleep but dont dream. It is basically nothing but you dont know if because its nothing to know of. Ha, yep just NOTHING.

I find this very hard to imagine, for obvious reasons! When you try to think what it would be like to not exist, it's very hard. I lean towards the view that there is some continuation after death, but I don't know what.

Actually I'm quite looking forward to dieing, although there's a lot of stuff to do between now and then. At least when it happens I might get to have every single question posed on this board answered in one go!

Yes...are life after death theories just our fears talking? Is there life after death? I hope so because it does scare me to think that I might just cease to exist.

I study all of the ideas on the subject...but do I do that because I am scared? Yes.

My first defense is, "My spirit/soul is so strong that it must exist after I die!" Am I lying to myself? Am I just hoping very much? This has haunted me since I was a child.

When I am in the state of "believing in God and feeling His presence/love in my heart", I can believe in a lot of things. I feel I talk to God. I feel God takes care of me and loves me. I believe I will continue after death.

When I am pessimistic, see a dead body, or even am just depressed/in a bad mood/funk, I can look at death as nothing but ceasing to exist.

I want to live on...reincarnation makes sense...turning into pure energy makes sense...all of the theories/thoughts, I can embrance.

I would so love to know the truth...

When we die, we go to valhalla, and get drunk and grope at valkyries, and crack jokes about thor and his 'hammer'

That my friend is not a very solid argument, just because it is written in the bible does not make it true. What about the thousands and thousands of people who claim to have seen various "ghost' phenomenon? Or the people who have been successful with evp?
