COPENHAGEN, Denmark -
President Bush said in a Danish TV interview aired Thursday that adhering to the Kyoto treaty on climate change would have "wrecked" the U.S. economy, and he called U.S. dependence on Gulf oil a "national security problem."

"I couldn't in good faith have signed Kyoto," Bush told the Danish Broadcasting Corp., noting that the treaty did not include other nations — including India and China — that he called "big polluters."

I can name another thing wrecking the american economy.

Maybe kyoto is flawed, but its a start.

Why would the crazy gang and their hangers-on give a damn if the gravy train stops - after they're gone?

Science the world over is saying loud and clear what we need to do on this issue but just cos they can stick a few talking heads up on a TV show they give the impression opinion is fairly evenly split.

If they started investing a fraction of what they spent on weapons and the war there mightn't be such a daunting problem ahead.

Still *&@! it, huh? Who cares.
Our kids and grandkids'll be the ones left carrying the can (and at at least 10 times the cost cos we wouldn't bother to do much of anything serious about it early on), right?

Well, what else wrecks the economy? Republicans! So I guess he would sign something that banned republicans since they seem to kill the economy quite quickly. I mean this, Booming 20s, a dem is in charge. Republican gets in office, Great Depression. A democrat gets in office, we become THEE GREATEST NATION EVER! Then back and forth, dems aren't in power long enough to affect it much, neither are republicans, they keep fighting back and forth.

Later, a man from Arkansas gets in office, and creates thee greatest economy ever, and largest surplus ever, and makes America a respected country worldwide. But then he gets head, and republicans spend millions of dollars proving he got a bj, waste over 200 FBI agents proving he got a bj, and so instead of doing their jobs like answering phone calls from flight schools who have Arabic student learning to fly but not land they are busy proving the president got head from a chunky secretary.

Then a republican steals the election, and kills the economy, turns the largest surplus ever into the largest deficit !EVER! He gets documents telling him OBL will attack with airplanes. FBI tells him OBL will attack with airplanes. DOes he raise a warning about this? No, he tells the FBI to shut up, LITERALLY, and then cuts millions from the FBI Anti-Terror budget.

No economy has been good under a republican, ever. Federalists, Anti-Federalists, Free-Soilers, Democrats, No Party(Washington was in no party, and he warned against parties being made) all had so-so to ok to even great economies, but republicans? They are lucky if anyone has a job after they are in office.
