Post a list of what you think are the worst songs of all time. List the ones that are annoying, stupid, or just plain suck. I have a few songs on this list.

Facination - Human Leauge < 20 years have past and to this day this song haunts me, why was something like this has been unleashed upon the human race.

Mambo #5 - [Who cares anymore] < Will not stop playing this song!

Akon - Lonely < Stop playing this on the radio, he sucks! Why does he have that annoying high pitched thing in the background!

Video Killed the Radio Star - The Buggles < Like seriously. I really don't get the point.

I'd definitely agree with the middle two choices, GoldEagle; dire, awful excuses for records.

There is one other recent song that has achieved success and notoriety here in Britain, that is if it can be called a song....the brits reading this already know what I'm talking about: the annoying moblie phone ringtone, that had a beat put to it and released as single - only to get to No. 1, and stay there for 4 weeks!!! Yes, the Crazy Frog:bnghd:
Oh well, at least it kept boring whiney Coldplay from the top spot.

I think this group were called "Vanilla", they were a girl group from the U.K. around the time of the Spice Girls boom. The song was called "No Way" i think.
It went-
No way, no way... manamana
No way, no way
No way, no way... manamana
...don't get fresh with me!

*shudders violently* I can remember more of the lyrics, but it would pain me so much to type them out!

That song would top my list.
Although i would agree that Mmmmbop probably is terrible, i can't help but like it, lol.

Well, MMMMMMM Bop is a pretty crappy song. And anything by Limp Biskit is also nausiating (spelling sucks). However, there is a song by John Mayer, which is his most famous song that I absolutely hate and would rather listen to a car being broken into with the alarm going off than listen to that song. It so bad I don't even know the name of it.

How did we over look her? Like pouring concentrated sulfiric acid in your ear.

I recently started to upgrade my music listening from 80s and 90s to stuff people listen to now. Man I wish I had a time machine. Everything in music now deals with gang violence, suicide, and drugs. All Hip-Hop, recent Rap, and Punk Rock, just plain old sucks.

My notible metion is Akon, I just wan't to punch my radio everytime I here this loser.

In Canada we have a station called Jack FM, which plays good music from time to time.

as for bad music I would have to nominate
Kung Fu Fighting - Carl Douglas
I think its the one that goes "Everyone loves kung fu fighting" and thats all I remember, but it was annoying nonetheless

I listen to JACK FM alot, I'm listening to it right now, it's the best station around because there are no 12 year olds calling in wanting to hear the Backstreet Boys another time in half an hour.

They play some pretty bad song some times, one of which is that song that goes, "hey mickey your so fine you blow my mind...." ah, it burns!

It's hard to pick a meaningful worst song in this day and age, but I think these rank up there:

Lady Marmalade-La Belle

Fingertips #2-Little Stevie Wonder

You Light Up my Life-Debbie Boone

Stayin' Alive-Bee Gees

Whole Lotta Love-Led Zeppelin

I classify worst songs in a slightly different way. I don't consider songs from genres I don't like. What really ticks me off is a really bad song from a genre that I love- especially if it's from a band that is or was pretty good at some time.

With this in mind,

1. Metallica's entire Saint Anger Album is number 1 with a bullet for all time worst songs over- especially the title track. Apparently Metallica decided that downloaders should get what they pay for. Remember, this is the same band that actually incorporated the price of one of their early EPs into the title so that record stores wouldn't gouge kids for an extra two bucks. Also, when James Hetfield first linked up with rich-kid Lars Ulrich, Het used to spend HOURS dubbing Lar's heavy metal records (Lars was literally having every single new album in a NWBHM catalog automatically shipped to him monthly). Hypocrites, sellouts, and God bleeped blankin HAS-BEENS! I probably would have gone to see "Some Kind of Monster" if only they hadn't put this last album out.

2. Red Hot Chili Peppers- Porcelain.
Coming from a guy who actually likes "under the bridge" better than "give it away" or "suck my kiss", I still think that Porcelain, like 1/2 of Californication and 3/4 of By The Way, is going way way too far with the soft, slow, meaningless crap. The Red Hot Chili Peppers may not even like music anymore as far as I can tell. Look at their discography- they used to put an album out every year or two, but since Blood Sugar Sex Magik it has been 3-4 years between albums. If I neglect to mention anything about "One hot minute" that's because I never have listened to it and never will. I heard Aeroplane on MTV and that's all I needed to know about this band post 1991.

3. Tom Petty- Don't fade on me.
You'll be hard pressed to find Tom Petty that I don't like, but if he ever came close, several times no less, it was with the album Wildflowers. Don't fade on me is the track that really crossed the line in my opinion. I can actually listen to the rest- and some of it grows on you.

4. Greenday- Minority and Warning: Greenday misfires a lot, but I've learned to live with it because every album has something on it for me, with the exception of the Warning album. It would have helped a lot if there had been something good to balance out these two tragedies on the album.
