Troop movements in Caribbean?

At the end of the attached article are a couple of notes regarding potential troop movements in the Caribbean and Florida base lockdowns. This is supposedly signalling a possible invasion of Venezuela.

Does anybody have any additional information or thoughts on this subject. I have not noticed much else in my web searches, and note that the article is now about a month old. Also, I do not believe that even the cowboys up in D.C. would do something like this without a few weeks/months of 'conditioning' through the media. I know that our government is not happy with the Venezuela government; however I doubt that we would want to take on something like this with all of the resources that we are draining in Iraq.

I'm still searching around...but I was curious as to other members' thoughts.

There was a thread on UN troops near Venezuela a couple of months ago.
US Battleships near Venezuela Coasts

I dont think they planning to invade.
Perhaps just moving troops near to make Chavez nervous.

Isnt Venezuela the 4th largest oil exporter in the world? I know they are in the top 5...hint...hint..
