when will the us marine corps get the xm8 ?

i heared it will be around 2007. the xm8 is a great weapon, it is extreamly easy to put together and disassemble, there are assault rifle sharpshooter, and machine gun versions. it fires 5.56mm rounds, and has a scope instead of the sight system. when i join up in the marine corps, i would like to use this ! when will it be in service?

i think that they will... they say its good.... so i guess that yes they will get that G3A3
thats stuck in a star troopers weapon form....
