All these symbols, structures, and geometries "they" erect are all things we can harness ourselves.

The theory-based researcher only comes up with assumptions, conjecture, conspiracies, etc even if partly factual. The application-based researcher sees the opportunity present, and figures out a way to tap into it.

Just because "their" symbology is slanted always towards 'a dark agenda' assumption doesn't mean that the symbology isn't left wide open and clear for others to harness it.
