The volume certainly warrants its own forum.

If it's doable within a reasonable frame of administrative effort, go for it.

I agree, the 9/11 discussions should be seperated from the War on terror discussions.

Or, perhaps the War on Terror forum should become group of forums (like "General Forums " & "Conspiracy-Related Subjects") with the sub forums;
- Past (9/11 discussions etc...)
- Present (Iraq, Afghanistan)
- future (Iran, Syria, NK)

I absolutely agree that a separate 9/11-forum would be a good thing.

Just giving this an evening bump for attention, I think we'll need more support then this

There are websites and communities entirely based around investigating the truth of 9/11 events that are larger than ATS.

I thought the efforts to bring the large body of information on 9/11 at ATS together were useful, but I suppressed a chuckle when staff attempted to restrict all posts to one thread.

Thanks for your input, QuietSoul. I'm working on a council proposal that has to do with that very thing. (I had not thought of a seperate 9-11 forum, tho, specifically.) Excellent idea.

it is true there are allot of 911 threads, I know Seekerof made a 911 folder but does 911 warrant it's own forum? I would suggest just moving them to Politic@ATS if anything at all.

I thoroughly concur.

The whole War on Terror should be moved to P@ATS as I've said before and I agree 9/11 does need its own sub-section of this due to the interest it has.

Absolutely. War is a subset of politics.

Here are some good examples of threads that should be in a WAR forum in PTS:

1. Soldier Serving in Iraq by Amethyst
2. Debunking the Myth: Creating Terrorists in Iraq by RedWhiteandBlood
3. All the Wounded Soldiers by Icarus Rising
4. Reasons for the Iraq War by (do not have name)

9-11 Forum at PTS:

1. Former MI5 agent says 9-11 Was an Inside Job by Hunting Veritas
2. Military Reaction to 9-11 by Zaphod58
3. Martial Law 9-11: Best Documentary Ever by 8bitagent

Those are just a small handful of threads that should be moved to PTS.

9/11 is a major conspiracy subject matter and thus should stay within the main ATS site, IMHO.

In my own personal view, WOT would be better suited for PTS, but then again, to some, WOT can or may be seen and/or interpreted as a conspiracy, itself.

And MaskedAvatar is right about trying to restrict 9/11 discussion to one thread. At the time, it was a way to keep the subjects separated and somewhat organized together. Hindsight is 20/20. It was mainly my initiative and my mistake. Point well taken, MA.
