I do not understand why people have been posting so many anti-Bush threads on ATS. I cannot help but reply to them, sadly. They are labled as terrorism threads but its just all Bush bashing, whats the deal with this??

ATS = PTS?

Please, I come to ATS to get away from politics...and now its just sucking me back in! aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

Do you agree?

I don't know what you're talking about. The title of the thread is misleading. If public opinion tilts away from Bush, that is not a conspiracy. It's called falling out of favor and the people not buying his bu#.

Yep, this is what has been happening to ATS for well over a year now. It started to slide before the last American elections and hasn't stopped. I really don't care if people are pro bush - anti bush - whatever, but politically opinions in threads are heavy at the moment. Blame it on the war I guess.

Everything flows from politics. So that is natural.

I will be presenting a proposal that deals with aspects of what you are saying in the near future.

There is no doubt in my mind that this forum is anti-Bush, anti-Republican, etc. I have severely limited my visits here for that exact reason. I am a real senior scientist, (chemist) ex-military, and would love to present some of my years of findings in certain areas, and offer my insight and opinions in some of the other areas studied here before I am too old to be sensible or am deceased.

It is my opinion that scientific research should be apolitical. Ridiculous assertations that not even the National Enquirer would believe about President Bush, have no place here. I didn't seek science message boards to bash Clinton when he was President and expect the same courtesy from others with the current administration, which I in fact approve of strongly.

I had hoped after the election last year that the Bush-haters would find better and more relevant subject matter. What a shame, I had very interesting subject matter to present, but it appears that it will have to be placed in a more mature and certainly non-political venue where the cold hard scientific facts can stand or fail on their own merit, regardless of who occupies the oval office.

That the Bush administration is a criminal gang of terrorists on a global scale is readily accepted by some members of ATS, and heartily defended by Bush apologists with varying degrees of sincerity.

But there is no such thing as value-free science.

Bye Glenn. Good luck!

Glenn, why don't you start by sharing some of your "cold hard scientific facts" here with us, and let us be the judge?

By saying 'this anti-Bush' thing, do you mean people discussing the LIES that Bush has told?

If anyone left ATS over Bush it was with their tales between their legs because of those of us telling them over and over again they were being lied to about Saddam's WMD capabilities.

If you want to really talk about top secret stuff, join the military or some intelligence agency.

Who is this 'they' you keep talking about?

"They .. don't care about politics.. but everybody keeps mentioning them.." Politics?

If everybody keeps mentioning politics then that would mean alot of people are interested.
