Unknown object, 9/11?

Please forgive me if this has been posted before and delete this post if it has. Another documentary on 9/11 was recently shown on UK television and whilst watching it I noticed an object passing at high speed above the towers. Out of curiosity I watched it a few times and was unable to positively identify it. I am useless with video editing of any kind but I managed to get it into windows movie maker and copy the clip to my computer. From that I have managed to take some still pictures of the object which I will try to post for some of you "experts" to try and help me decide what it is that was caught on camera. For comparison I have also managed to catch a bird flying past as well which might help put a rough scale on the whole thing. I will try to post two of the frames for you but if someone wants all the frames and a copy of the clip to post for all ATS users to see please PM me your email addy and I will be happy to send them to you so that you could post them all for me. I can also give a link to where the whole documentary can be downloaded so that it can be checked out to make sure that I have not tampered with the footage.
Once again I apologise if this one has been checked out before, and I also must state that I am not saying that this is definately a "flying saucer", the truth is it could also be a bird out of focus for all i know. Oh! I might ad that it took roughly 0.8 of a second to pass the screen.


You can see the object first appear at the top left of the screen.




It now appears just above the right hand edge of the right tower.

Right hopefully these pics will show when i post and if anyone can post the rest of them for me i would really appreciate it, so please pm me if you are interested.

I can definately identify this pics as being a bird but as for the others im afraid I really aint sure what it is.

There's another video around the net where it shows a "missile" type thing fly/zip past the WTC very fast as the plane is crashing into it. Freaky stuff....

well... maybe its a part from the airplane

Thats pretty interesting, I have never seen that before in any other videos. Do you have a link to the video where that is from? I would like to see it for myself just to see what is going on. Nice pics too

I have the clip and if someone can get it put up somewhere so that everyone can see it I will email them a copy. I aint very good with compuers so im not sure how to do it myself.

I slowed this gif image down to one third the original speed

A flying mystery object was captured on Fox News videotape moments after a second aircraft
crashed into New York's World Trade Center. Stills from the video, taken by Gamma Press USA,
showing the twin towers from an east angle, reveal an unknown object moving at a 90 degree
angle to the second plane's flight path.

A close examination of the footage appears to first show the object flashed by sunlight, above
the left tower, a full 10 seconds after impact of the second airliner. The mystery object quickly
streaks across the the back of the right tower before swooping down at a rapid clip and out of the camera's frame.

If you can send me the video I think I have a way to upload it for everyone, I haven't tried it yet but I am pretty sure it will work.

To me it looks like a helecoptor, probaly circling around videtaping what is happening.

I thought it looked like a helicopter too at first. But once you take a closer look at the plane hitting the tower it seems that the video is going in slow-motion and for something to go that fast even when slowed down, it can't be a helicopter, at least not any I have ever seen.

It looks like a bird or helicopter to me aswell. Sauron your first animation was said to be a pigeon..and the second group of pictures was a piece of debris it was talked about here on ats. What about this picture what does that look like?

Looking at the clip again I can say that it is not part of the plane as it is well after the impact, and on my pics it is definately not a chopper as it is traveling far too fast, as I said, about 0.8 seconds to cross the screen. What it did remind me of though is a program I watched about a phenomenon called "rods" that seem to be getting cought on camera regularly nowadays. If anybody else would like a copy of the clip give me a shout and i'll send one to you.

There was a helicopter in the air at the time

i think it was either Fox or CNN, but there was a helicopter around the towers

The first video object was originally quoted as a UFO on a japanese website
It does seem to share some typical characteristics

I assume the object shown heading groundward to be some decaying remnant of the holographic image of the 'plane' said to have hit the South Tower

Other more stationary orb-type objects may be a clue to the maintenance of the holographic image - ie airborne projector housings

Right guys I have finally managed to get the clip sorted out for you all to watch at this link..Towers clip

At about 6.5 seconds or so, the object enters the left side of the screen just above the smoke and only takes about 0.8 seconds to reach the other side. This is not an actual dead on time might I add. At about 13 seconds in you can clearly see a bird fly accross the top right hand corner of the screen.

Hope this might help in being able to identify what it is. As I said in one of my previous posts it kinda reminds me a bit of the rods phenomenon I have heard about before.

Thanks for the video. I'm afraid the object at 6.5 seconds looks like a bird to me. It passes in front of the water tower on the right hand side of the film. If you're clever with the pause button and you get the right frame you will also see this.

The thing that interests me however is the 'thing' that appears out of the right tower on 12 seconds and slowly decends. Surely someone jumping would not look that large in the film. Maybe it's that helicopter again.

Nice one Irma, I was so concerned with the fast moving object I never spotted something appearing to come from the tower area afterwards.
