newest weapons and thechnology

Here's the newest version. As u can c, it's not sooo large as b4, so it'll b A LOT MORE POPULAR!!!

The scope: XM104, 6x, rangefinder, camera scope[4 the Land-Warrior System, so u can c through the scope without using ur eye 2 look through the scope the old fashion way. This way, u can peek around corners, over logs, etc...., and only have 2 expose ur hands instead of ur hands, head, neck, and shoulder[s].] I'm not 100% sure, but I think it is Thermal, or at least Night, Vision able, but it sends out a laser 2 designate targets 4 Aircraft, and 2 find range, but also has a fire control system 4 the 20mm....

Underneath the scope is the XM25 20x85mm HE Grenade Launcher: Range of 1000m, 6 rd mags, using the rangefinder scope, it can explode inside the center of a room or even in mid-air!!! A lot more accurate than a 40mm, but without a bit of the firepower.

Underneath it comes the XM8 with 5.56x45mm Kinetic Energy[KE]: 20-30 rd mags, range 500m.

There u have it: HK XM-29 SABR/OICW

thats heavy... some1 said that it was cancelled because of its weight...
lets hope that they'll find some kind of metal thats durable and not that heavy

Neah. It might of been delayed because of it's weight, and it was supposed 2 come out in 2008, but they might have pushed it back 4 a few other reasons:

1. They might be working with the 6.8mm
2. The new types of 5.56mm rds
3. obviously, the weight
4. size, but I think that's fixed now
5. and other technologies their working on. I just don't know bout them.

Besides, they've been working on this idea 4 more than a decade, it would b a waste of money and time 2 stop now anyways.

THAT SUCKS!!!! Terrorist r going 2 want these soooooo badly, but the Chinese r making 1 2, so they get 2 options. The thing is, the American M29 OICW costs 10,000 dollars, which isn't much when u think about it, but I don't think a terrorist could by them on ebay or something. , but I 'm sure they try and get the Chinese Versions, and that shouldn't b sooo hard soon.

The M29 will b the next generation of assualt rifles, sense it can use XM8 mags, it should b able 2 use the 100-drums, but it's heavy enough. I say a few years down the road, with lighter and stronger materials, this will b like the XM8, with a Sniper Version, a Support, and a Normal Version, but soon, they might b able 2 equip a shotgun, with a longer barrel and a RAIL System, underneath the barrel. They should also switch 2 the 6.8mm soon.

The obvious problem now is weight, but that's about it in my opinion 4 the new version.

Neah, I don't think they will easily, but it's China vs. US in how 2 get some, ehh, much harder 2 get M29s.

does russia have anything like the OICW? do they have any new guns at all?? or are they stuck with the ak-47 and aks-74 series?

i don't think so... besides shouldn't you know if they have any since your russian... hehehe

but yeah, I don't think so, but with all that room in Siberia, they got 2 have some bases there, and they might have things that would scare us 2 death.

i left russia when i was 3... i miss it but im stuck here... i found this forum to keep track ov what my country is doing... almost every thread i made has something to do with russia

I would say more on ground now. I haven't heard much new stuff on Russian Air Forces in awhile. They're not with their Navy. They destroyed their 2 best missile cruisers, the Kirovs I think they were called, because they were soooo expensive. I LUVED THOSE!!! They were nice, but yeah, 2 expensive.

Well they are keep pomping out Su-30's and selling them to other countries. and the mig 1.44 i think is a exprienmental craft... The russia are good at keeping secrets, pretty much nothing(military information wise) gets out of the country unlike the US, once it got something it's all over the internet lol

!!! That is soooo true. Like I said on another post, they got all that land in Siberia where nobody lives, they might have bounches of secret bases out there we don't know about, but us in the US, even with our bases in the mts., it's all over the internet. Even if a new 1 goes up, it won't take long 4 some1 2 post it somewhere.

Bout the Air Force, I was talking bout sense they were working on the new AK100s, AN94s, Black Eagles, and others, I choose land, but I just haven't heard much news bout the Russian Air Force, planes, or helis lately.
