While I admire your patriotism (I'm a Canad too.) - I think you're fairly wrong here.

We're a fully sovereign nation who is entirely wholly independent of Britain. The Governor General still "Reports" to the queen but is more just a respected position than one of power.

Trudeau and the Queen signed the document shortly before he left office for the last time, and it made us fully sovereign.

Canada is Canadian, we are no longer a crown land, though we love our lubberly brits.

And personally, I'm stating this now, if this happens, the whole unification thing for 2010, I'm gonna revolt. If I'm a single man running at a wall with a knife, I'll still do it, because there's no way I'm gonna be as Canadian as a guy who speaks 100% spanish and lives below the 16th parallel. I will not let that happen.

"the great wall of cananda".

i like it.

if the us were a democracy, i wouldn't mind so much, but because it's so overtly fascist, now.....

vote jack layton into office. let's make him the prime minister. he's commited to fighting the corporation. he believes in symbiotic systems. medicare would improve, instead of dwindle. drug patents would be shortened from twenty to ten yrs. monsanto would bite our white shiny arses. enviromental programs, like the many successful ones he has already introduced as toronto council guy, are symbiotic and pay for themselves through lowered energy bills and the like.
he has a book called, 'speaking out, ideas that work for canadians'. if you read this book, you will pray for him to lead our frosty igloo covered land.
gotta go feed the seals. ciao 4 now.

I'm curious as to whether there will now be one currency between the three countries, if they will stay three seperate countries or not, and who is going to be in charge if they become one large country?

I don't want Canadians to be part of a Continental America unless they want to. Ive always seen them as Brits who moved to a Country and made a life for themselves like Australia and New Zealand. They have their own culture but are still Brits deep down. You even have Frogs next door like us.
Americans are to diverse to be related to the Brits the only thing we have in common is the language which in a few years will probably be Spanish when the Mexicans take over. Better start building that wall

I'm Canadian but I still feel bad about the whole Illegals comming to the US and such, anyone tought about that? It won't be long before they keep comming north and into Canada.

What it does with the problem with Illegal Mexican immigrants is it makes it a lot more easy for them to cross into the US, you do all remember that Illegal imigrants are bad for the economy because they drive down the wages right or has everyone forgot what the Minutemen were all about?

As for the EU comment, I wouldn't want Canada joining that either. I'm happy for Europe that the EU constitution was shot down since its clear in the countries where there was a vote on it that it wasn't wanted.

Why is this being issued as news?

The Header is bogus!

No one has put this thread down as being other than filler!

Again, Why is is here? I thought this was for news.

If I am missing something then I'm sorry. I mean no disrespect. What's up?

If this IS a true news story, then how does securing the borders so that people have a harder time getting through, or so that they know that if they try to come into Canada or Mexico and are caught, they'll suffer the same penalty, mean that we're going to have a unified community? I didn't see anything saying we're going to use the same currency, or anything else. Just that they want to secure the borders to make it harder for terrorists to get into any of the three countries.

globalisation schemes are far from being filler where i come from(zaydox). the wonderfully, since the inception, unpopular, in canada, 'free trade' 'deal' forced up our cold little behinds by the mulroney crime family has been nothing but strife. the best things this country has come from the legislation of NDP and liberal governments. it's called, 'share the wealth'. this lowers crime, and ensures a strong, healthy workforce, and good infrastructure.
the privatisation/trade 'deal'/globalist crowd ensures us that our apples will be shipped to spain, and spain will eat yummy chemically preserved BC apples.
we will pay at least twice for everything, under the current 'liberal', or ridiculous conservative agendas. first we build it with our taxdollars, and then we give it to some private interest for a song. i'm thinking highway 407, in particular, as a good example. hydro is another.'they' keep claiming that 'competition will drive prices down. private enterprises are more efficient'. prices inevitably go up when a crown corporation gets fed to the bay street dogs.
this is quite similiar to the recent us supreme court ruling which allowed the seizure of private property for the purose of selling it to a developer.
this is world war three. it is one megalithic 'corporation'(in majik, it's a 'grigori', .....kind of like a spiritual capacitor. i.e. a storage cell with a personality) vs. us(humans). when everybody agrees with me, it will be too late. most of us will be dead, and the rest, enslaved to a massive computer.
indeed, in a very real way, this has already happened. we are already enslaved to the binary god. our integration with the machine is so complete that we can't imagine life without computers and telecommunications and electricity.
okay, you've gone camping before.
there were still hospitals.
there were still rescue helicopters.
now, cell phones and GPS, web cams and broadband wireless.
our entire existance is three days away from complete chaos.
potentially.
i have some faith in humanity, still. i absolutely loved the community spirit that blossomed during the big blackout. you know the one. it was not a zero.

ok crown land and canadian laws look closer will still have ties.trude dude signed something that only remains if there is a constitution which we dont have one right now since brian.we are our own country but we still do not own our crown land.the answer was on ctv news last week about it and it amazes me why they dont teach this in school.federal government delegates the queens wishes.crown land i have looked up cannot be given away its is permantly owned not even the queen can give it away if she wishes.its not allowed to leave the kindom of england royalty.bna act still has life in all we do in everyday life.next time your in a court of canada you will see why most people cant understand the queens words.this might be one reason u.s wants to be its own country.it does not want somebody else owning there land.so there no way we could join a three way country.
anyone tells you just invade canada think twice.its more than one country and its owner is out for a walk and will return if they wish.....

The new country will be called the North American Community and will allow the free passage of people and goods between the three countries.

I'm not sure if it's the United Nations or some other group but anyway the world has been divided up into 10 regions. If I remember right the US, Canada and Mexico are in the plan as being grouped together as one of the 10 regions of an eventual united earth.

I would also like to mention that the Bible, Revelation 17 and Daniel 7, talks about 10 kings who will be in allegiance with the beast.

Hey! Watch it.

I'm an American, but my ancestors all came from the UK - mostly Scotland and England. I like to say I'm related to everyone over there because on the one side the family tree is filled with all those frenchie sort who trace their family back to Charlemagne and who knows who else, and on the other side they're the common as dirt Celts, Picts and Britains that history forgets.

I'm definately related (and probably to YOU too!)!

I look at it this way, Canada had refused Bush to use Canadian Air Space for his Missile Defence strategy.
(The-Amb to Cda Celluci said Cda gave up its right to its own Airspace, two days later he resigned.).

Cdn Prime Minister Paul Martin sits on pins and needles running with a minority gov so his a_ _ kissing is presently on hold. He may be forced to hold another election soon as his people are defecting to the conservitive opposition.

Lastly, would Canada or Mexico really want to get close to the work Bush has accomplished in order to be so well hated by not just Nato Allies but the East and Terrorists too.

Seems to me Canada and Mexico would want to stay as far away from Bush and publically released deals showing unity.

Canada has an unstable Government now and signing anything long term with Mr Bush may be fatal to Martin's ability to remain Prime Minister of Canada.

Very interesting to be able to read the proposals
By the way the EU used to be called the European Community, now its a union.
Started with steel

The exact same formular is being followed link
If you read it enough you will discover steel again.
But there is alot being set up at the same time, much faster than the EU then

So dont be fooled, not just because anything with the word commune in it should be viewed with suspition, but because Community means Union.

thinking that its bushes fault is completely out there. if you think that everything will miraculously turn around as soon as bush leaves office you are sorrily mistaken. Bush is a problem, but only one of the many. You dont have to be president to run the country.
