Terrorists in Los Angeles, California

Involvement from the FBI does not indicate terrorism in this case. The FBI is the lead authority over kidnappings. They get involved in any kidnapping case where the abductee has been gone for long enough to have been transported across state lines. The underlying assumption is that if you have enough time to cross the state line, you have crossed the state line and it is now a federal offense.

They could have also been contacted if this abduction case was related to others where the abductees have not been recovered (assumption of travel between states) or in situations where a group with a similar MO has acted in another state (again making it a Federal investigation).

These days even if Homeland Security was involved in an investigation, it does not, necessarily, indicate suspected terrorism. The investigatory techniques that were given to law enforcement through Patriot Act have been used multiple times for non-terrorism related cases.

Unfortunately for conspiracy theorists there is no "smoking gun" which leads from a conspiracy to terrorism any more. I think the line from Sneakers puts it best..."you won't know who to trust."

Its not confermed though it should be. They were trained and stationed. Plotting attacks on the US California Department stores as well as Hospitals. It could have allready happened if we had'nt have caught them.
