Not sure if i put this in the right place or not, so if any moderators wanna move it plz fell free to do so !!

I once heard of an experiment that the U.S was doing some time in the past to make there ships invisable to radar and appartenly the ship was teleported to another place miles away.

Id like to hear if anyone else knows anything about this

Search for Philadelphia Project
Alot of stuff online and on ATS about it

It's just denied by the government. There is quite a bit of evidence for it but as long as the government denies it, it's going to be controversal.

what if the government really means it deosnt know. i know about the Area 51 thing all high tech or undertesting new tech is tested there and there military aircrafts that succeed the average aero dynamics and have speeds up to mach 10-20 and aero dynamic shapes like Alien UFO but this succeeds the believeble that teleporting was tested come on how on earth can that be succeeded aero dynamic can be broken speeds can be broken but how can you succeed in teleporting???

As the story goes they did not mean to teleport the ship they only wanted to make it invisible to radar by creating a strong electromagnetic fields around the ship. This not only made the ship invisible to radar but the human eye too, and a little later the ship was teleported down by the Virginia coast.
This is how the story goes believe it or not, i’ll just remind you that Einstein and all the top scientists of the time were said to be working on this project.

And then there are the horror stories of people aboard when it was teleported ending up partially in bulkheads, anything not actually bolted down ending up in different places etc..

Thats usually the story as to why it was never followed up on.

any source or evidence on this discovery.

I doubt this. How do you want to teleport the electical signals of your brains? Wouldnt it need to be stored on a hd and then send by radar for example and then somehow flowed into someones mind?

I think it went like this: first they wanted to make things visually invisible by generating a very very VERY strong magnetic field that will bend light around a ship. Turns out it probably made a tear in space-time and the ship got warped to another location or something. I'm not really sure how the physics went. You can find details on it with Google.

There's a million different versions of this story. You can find the most information by looking up "Philadelphia Experiment" on Google or Yahoo.

One of the stories I heard was of a bar fight between a few survivors of the experiment. According to alleged witnesses, as the fight went on the men kept disappearing and reappearing in front of their very eyes.

I find a lot of this stuff to be highly suspect. But regardless, I still think something happened in the Philadelphia Naval Yard on that day. We may never know what it is. But being from South Jersey (right across the river from the former shipyard), this story has always peaked my interest since I was a child.

Here is a direct link to the ATS report on Project Rainbow (The project concerned with the cloaking of the USS Eldridge.

The first time this experiment was undertaken, the ship didn't completely disappear, and an imprint of the hull could be seen sitting in the water. The second time, the ship totally disappeared in a green fog and was sighted in Norfolk, Virginia.

A haunting fact is that when the ship reappeared, the crew were all in a state of disorientation. Some were mentally ill, while other crewmen didn't even return. There were also crewmen that returned embedded in the hull. Later accounts arose about the crewmen, including a former crew member who was involved in a bar fight, and all the participants froze in time, as reported by a local newspaper! There were also accounts of people who were on the ship, spontaneously combusting.

Its a strange experiment.
The history channel I believe had something on it, very interesting.

Is there a link to this local newspaper?

Where's Gazrock when he's needed?

I presume your refering to the Experiment of the USS Elbridge? You are opening a can of worms as there are so many parts to this show.

Especially Tesla and his early retirement from the project and demised Death.
Van Braun and other more unsavery characters took it over and all hell broke loose through the second phase of the experiment.

I can only suggest you consider looking up in the ATS library and find the great thread debates from ATS masters and decide for yourself. I really don't want to discuse the details anymore than the ten times we have already.

For my part, don't know about Gaz's thoughts, I believe the experiment happened.

There is an actually governemtn site about that issue. It doesn't really say anything other then that it didn't happen. Of course I also heard that the name of the ship was changed to hide the evidence. The USS eldrigde now belongs to another country. i think turkey but i'm not sure. But as for people fusing into the metal, I believe that could happen if you use huge amounts of power with telsa coils, and magnetic fields. we are all made up of molecules anyways and those molecules have electrons. Its quite possible that the ships molecules were excited to such a state that the ship wasn't completely solid anymore.

That makes me think that time and electricity are actually one, fused into our world as different states; such as water is a liquid, yet ice is a solid.

A magnetic field can be created by the accumulation of electrons, which , in turn speeds the electrons up and creates light-ing upon circuit completion.

According to Quantum physics, which is the study of sub-atomic particles, 90% of atoms are empty space. What does that mean for the Eldridge?

The magnetic field that was produced by the ship induced a higher vibration/ frequency rate of the electrons, thereby allowing matter to be fused together (man and ship).

People this just a thought, not a hypothesis or theory.

I used to know of a website where some guy used telse coils and other equipment to produce such experiements. He fused a wooden block into a piece of metal. A bunch of other things too. He could cause some objects to float. With all that power in a small room the energy levels are bound to cause weird things to happen.

Would be good if you could find that website again.
Wikipedia is a good place to read about the Philadelphia Project.

I have heard of this prject, the Philadelphia Project. I can't remember the name of the ship, it started with an "E" I think...

But I have thought about this and figured that if you could somehow.... i dunno... Switch dimensions and let a little time pass, you end up in a different part of Earth as it spins/orbits round the sun. I'm not sure if the ship this experiment was rumored to be on was found, but if it wasn't logically it could be floating in space. But then again, I'm stupid and don't know a whole lot other than what the Philadelphia Project was. I think there was also an X-Files on it....
