NEWS: Chargest Against Teen Upgraded After Dog He Rapes Dies

A 17 year old is in jail after molesting a 3 year old, committing statutory rape of a 13 year old and raping his neighbor's dog to death. Chargest against the teen were upgraded when the dog he raped later died.



Sadly lost in this story is the fact that he molested a 3 year old and committed statutory rape of a 13 year old. This has to be one of the most bizzare stories I have ever seen. The dog part of the deal just puzzles me. Was this done to build an insanity defense for the other things that were done or was this guy just out of control completely?

The insanity plea might be appropiate for this. No sane person can do all that. I refuse to believe that.
Whatever he gets, whether he's stuck in a straight jacket or stuck in jail, he needs to be there for the rest of his life.

You are so right!! Why is this even a factor??? Yeah it's pathetic and sad, but is what is even more pathetic is the American Judicial system. The Statuatory rape and molestion charges alone should be enough to hammer this "guy". That's what authorites should be focusing on, not the dog.

Here we have a white kid, a dog that has died because it was raped by this white kid. The story is extremely sick. but what makes this story so bad. is the 13 year old and 3 year old girls that were also raped by this lunatic barely get a passing mention in the article.

I fail to see how racism came into play here.

The girls will not be elaborated on, ever, period. That's because of their age. Their names will not be released, they will not interviewed. I think that's a good thing. They're children, why should they experience a rehash of what happened to them and tolerate media obsession and harassment.

Aside from which, the kid is white, the family that owned the dog was black. To me, that shows a diverse neighborhood, and being that the names of the girls were not released you have no idea what their race is, and have a 50-50 chance of guessing it.

Why did the dog make the headlines? Well, frankly, in this day and age sensationalism is what grabs attention. A sexual predator on average does not make the newspaper anymore. A sexual predator who rapes an animal will make the newspaper. That's how things are with the press...

kenshiro2012, are pulling the racism card because you believe the two girls to be black? If that's the case, I would have to disagree. I think the media is focusing thier reporting on the "dog" because sadly but surely..."a boy raping a dog" will sell much more than "a boy raping a girl" (of any color).

And who knows...maybe authorities have pressed for hard charges on the raping of the little girls....but ofcourse the media will not report that because it does not sell.

Let's not go in2 the politics of it - wat's the point? Children and a dog of all things, were raped and abused and ultimately, if we keep this up, we're going to marginalise what's happened to them. That sick bastard...

Talk about a sick society, the news folks figured the only way to bring attention to the story was to make the dog the central point. Then they fell into their own trap.

Honestly, how many people would have read the story if the headline was "3 Year Old Molested"? We are so desensitized to sex crimes that making the headline outrageous is one of the only ways to get our attention.

I'm not totally downing society but really now, anyone else notice how sick things seem almost normal or expected anymore?

As sickening as it may be and truly disgusting, this teen is going to be able to fall in the insanity plead and probably get away with.

One thing is to be charge against the littler girls but when you bring animalistic rituals, then insanity will be use to defend his behavior.

Yeah, this guy has to be insane....what sane person would ever have sexual intersourse with a dog. Then again...what sane person would ever rape a child? I don't think this falls into the category animalistic rituals....but ya never know these days.

I don't think the insanity plea will work, many murderers and sexual predators start by abusing animals, in fact this something profilors have been using to identify this type of behaviour for decades.

The boy is 17 so he will be tried as an adult and likely plea out and serve a few years for the rape and molesting but be out walking the streets after a relatively short time. As cold as it sounds this kid probably isn't the most outrageous offender the prosecutor has to try to put away.

Under Megan's Law this kid when he gets out will have to register as a sex offender, but we have all seen on the news lately that hasn't stopped these deviants from hurting kids. I don't know what should be done with this kid but the current system really stinks.

I agree but still what if he was targeting the girls, got what he wanted and knew that the only way out is claiming insanity and that's when he used the dog.

Just reading the story surrounding this kid makes the back of my throat taste like barf. Hopefully he gets a real sentence and gets a sense of what forced sodomy is like.

I would like to see why it seems to be soo important for a few of you to know what the 'race' of the girls is. Why make something more out of this? He is a child molesterer (spelling?) and the racial difference (if any) should not be relivant. I believe you are racist by making the point that he raped the girls because they were black...?

I dont know what breed the dog was, but for example - did he rape the dog cos it was, say a great dane? Oh no he's a canine racist!

This brings a whole new face to the phrase" Sick Puppy" One day, this kid, if you can call him such, is really going to answer to the BIG MAN upstairs.
