I was browsing the website of the local hit music station Z100 here in NY and came across this article in the Z Morning Zoo section...

Virginia scientists are studying an extremely rare blue crab caught in Chesapeake Bay that is female on one side and male on the other.

The crustacean was caught May 21 by Robbie Watson, 42, who said the coloration of the claws was puzzling.

I think this story is pretty cool.. and it never hit me that other animals beside us humans can be dual-gendered or something.

This happened a while back with a lobster. Same sort of thing, blue, dual-gender.

You just hear about it less because it happens in the wild and they die off. Also, they don't have their rights abridged by governments.

Oh, and Z100 sucks.
