Web Worm Attacks Windows, Spreads Fast

My computer got infected by that virus too. I downloaded the tool to remove it.

THat happened to me too. I noticed it a few hours ago. AlienS's avatar caused it. It seems that he removed it now, since I don't get a pop up anymore...

wierd. i think it may have been because i was using msn as the hosting source for my avatar. i uploaded the pic to my boomspeed account and changed the url, so it should be fine now.

I got hit last nite.

Downloaded a patch from Norton to run a scan.

Installed a new update from Microsoft and the problem was fixed.

ha, ive got primitive WIN98, lol. however my sister in law told me her pc was infected, so i used your links and stuuf to help, thx guys!

Yeah, keep in mind removing the virus is useless if you do not apply uncle Bill's MS patches for Windows. I know, I've seen it, and it took only a few min. to come back.
